Where are the rest of the powerful countries? Where is the UN? With all of this crazyness going on in the world. Why is it left up to American And British troops to take care of business? Why do all of you people not see the horror of this situation? Yes people are dying everyday(mostly Americans) Don't give me the oil crap, that's not what it's about, it's about every person in this world to have freedom, the freedom to vote, without fear, the freedom to speak your minds, your freedom to live without fear. the freedom of choice to be happy and think for yourself. Your freedom to go to the college of your choice, the freedom to marry and fall in love with the person of your choice. Your freedom to be YOU!! Your freedom to do what you want with your life! Why don't all of you other countries get it? This is what has made America the greatest country on the Earth. We are willing to fight, not only for our freedoms, but yours. I was wondering in the Navy Reserve have any Electrical or Engineering Jobs. I spoke to this guy which came back from MEPs and they gave him HM in the Reserve. I have a EE degree but my GPA is 2.9 which is to low for OCS. Please any advice would help

Considering that Iraq is a mess that has just gone out of control and now there are just loonies everywhere killing each other, the question is should America withdraw its troops from Iraq? and just write it off as a bad mistake and just let all go kill each other, at least we got rid of Saddam, I suppose thats a plus...should we go? or should we stay?

I have been wondering if Iran is responsible and behind everything going on in the middle east. My thoughts are that Iran is using this crisis in order to take America and the UN 's attention away from Irans nuclear program. and N. I was talking to a guy today who was a Marine up until a year ago. He talked in detail about how he was very liberal, and I do mean very liberal. Atheist, pro-taxes, socialized medicine, defense cuts, pacifism, the works. I said that must set him apart from most Marines, and he swore up and down most Marines he knew were pretty liberal people.

Is this true? Is he just blowing smoke up my *** or are many U.S. Marines actual liberal Democrats?

I mean...the hezbollah say that the Israel army had no right to attack them.....After all the do have 10000 people in jail.

They also say that they are being attacked by a bully and that Israel took there land

But the Israelies say that the hezbollah have been attacking them for years and that they should be taken out....

You have all hear news stories supporting each side.....

My question is....who really can say that they are defending themselves??

I commend you all for everything that you have done and are doing! You should be someone to be looked up to. You all are my true HEROES and there is nothing but respect in my heart for all of you. I don't know anyone that is currently in the Armed Forces but my father was a Vietnam Vet and I know what he went through. I know that it is not easy and will probably never be but stay strong.

I visit Normandy a fair amount. I have some photos of headstones from the American cemetery of members of the 101st Airborne Division killed on D-Day. Where should I send them? There may be relatives who have not had a chance to visit.
