Watching CNN right now and they showed a few Marines hiding behind some trees and the Marines were shaking like a leaf on a tree in a wind storm. A few Marines had some dirty on their butts. ( From being scared?) One Marines looked to be about 20 and he had the look of death on his face. ( Or was that the look of defeat?) So why do the insurgents scare the Marines so much?

Fire destroys house owned by soldier serving in Iraq, four dead

KIRKLAND, Wash. Fire gutted the home of a National Guard soldier serving in Iraq, and authorities feared the four bodies found inside included those of his wife and children. Sgt Milkin stated he now knows how the Iraqi people feel when their loved ones in Iraq are killed by the USA Government.

Sgt. Leonid Milkin, 29, was on his way to Washington state after being told of the fire in the suburban home east of Seattle that he had bought with his wife, Olga, 28, in 2003.
The victims' identities were not released Tuesday.

Neighbors reported the fire shortly before noon Monday.

``It was really intense,'' said neighbor Donovan George. ``The whole house was gone in, like, 10 minutes.''

No one had called 911 from inside the house, officials said. The bodies were all found on the second floor. Sgt Milkin has the support of the military in his time of grief.

How long is it acceptable to wait before one can date or Evan think about socializing with the opposite sex after ones husband has died in the act of war. I have the perfect answer but i thought i would ask others what they would think as of something as this because i feel many can feel one way and others another way. Having been brought up old fashioned i would like to know the now facts and decided on the answer before i give my thoughts .

Does it really matter? Are there not more important issues to focus on then their service history?

President Bush did not serve in Vietnam but he did serve in the National Guard, which was better than Bill Clinton dogging the draft and then getting pardoned by Jimmy Carter for it.

Why does the media focus on such nonsense?

Now, the U.S is constantly trying to get countries like iran and Korea to stop their nuclear weapon programs. But, its kinda funny how the only A-bomb in history ever dropped for warfare purposes was by: the U.S!! Nagasaki and Hiroshima were bombed by the U.S!!! no other country has ever used one in the same way as the US did, so maybe its the Americans that cant be trusted!

I am worried for him. He claims that he has people he can stay with out of state (he is in the Gaurd) and he won't tell us where in case one of us would narc but how could they find him and what would happen to him if they catch him? Does he have any options after he does this to just get a discharge and not serve time or what? Please no "he's an idiot and should be hanged' crap, but actual answers, he's just been a good friend and I don't really want to see anything happen to him
