And if someone attacks us again they might suffer a similar fate.

You know it, Jonsey, Have you familiarized yourself with the Illuminati? They do nothing but keep the world in a constant form of upheaval. Reality and Peace are never allowed to surface here in America or any country. Little wars , big wars and every size in between are fueled and fixed by them. The trouble is Americans have been inoculated by Chem-Trails for the last 7-years, that program is complete, just when we were getting a handle on it, boom, their over, now we are being bombarded by short waves of electronic mind spinning signals that can go right into out minds and produce anger, happiness, misery, depression and dozens of mental attitudes without our knowing it's happening! Lets face it , we are a decade or two late and several trillion dollars short. In the end I'm afraid that WE, as Americans where put to sleep at the wheel. The Powers that be got the ball now!

True. However, that was in retaliation of Pearl Harbor which was commited outside of 'the rules of engagement' which basically state that you declare war on a country before you launch a sneak attack. The funny thing about the incident is that the only reason Japan didn't surrender as demanded in order to avoid the bombs was that the translation of 'surrender' was understood to mean the American occupation of Japan and the execution of Japan's leaders. The intended definition of 'surrender' didn't become understood until it was too late. The US was trying to end a war before it could start, though I do not agree with the methodology of the 'grandparents' days of old.
I like your question, it shows you are thinking. Well done.

I will tell you what is so stupid about this so-called question. The bombings in question were an act of desperation coming at the end of a long and costly war. Would be nice if you actually too time to consider what you are talking bout before flapping off about how evil the US is. Should we ever decide we have to use them again, and we have not, it will only be out of necessity as a last resort for the sake of survival.

By using the A-bomb, we (america) actually screwed ourselves. We showed Russia, China...we showed the WHOLE world that the atom could be split and the energy turned into a weapon. Only 4 or 5 people on the planet were smart enough to figure that out (Einstein was one of them), so we could have kept nuke's a secret and NOBODY would have had them.

Gah. Learn history.
When the atomic bomb was dropped, the potential fallout was not known. Remember, it was new technology at the time. Not to mention that it was in the middle of a WORLD WAR and the situation was desperate.
Until you display some amount of knowledge and comprehension on the subject, you and your argument are just ridiculous.

Okay, think real hard. Remember Pearl Harbor? Hmmm? Now think about why the Americans dropped the bomb on Hiroshima. Stop thinking so hard. You'll only injure yourself.

Yes and this is why we know how horrible it is and should never happen again. Also I would like to note that there would be no Japanese people alive today had we invaded. They ALL would have fought to the death rather than surrender, unless ordered to surrender by their emperor whom they considered a god. Until recently only nations where people value life had the bomb. The bomb in the hands of people who train their children to be suicide bombers scare me.

I'll just sit back and watch the old truism, "What goes around, comes around.", happen. Not that I would wish it on anyone, but America will eventually have something happen that will make 9/11 look like childs play. And it could be nuclear in some way

everyone who possesses a weapon is, to some degree, dangerous. but as with people some countries are more likely to behave in an unreasonable manner than others. and N. Korea and Iran are more likely to be irresponsible than the US or Britain or Israel or any other democracy

the people of America need to remember America is the people...not the government....If America has nuclear power then the rest of the world deserves to as well.
........However as to the designing and building of nuclear weapons much less the using of such is a dishonorable act performed by a weaker lower grade intelligence....regardless of what person or country uses them
