YOU GET SENT BACK HOME. no criminal charges because you did not have it with you at the time. (hopefully) A friend of mine was in Atlanta she was ready to board the plane the next morning when they tested her she was positive for crank. she just came home and she was not allowed to go back.

Actually it's worse if it happens before you ship than after you're done with training & out to a unit. At a unit it is as stated just counseling most times, but repeat offenses will get you a bad conduct discharge. Possession is a whole other ball game. It can also screw you on a security clearance, which you need for almost everything.

BEFORE you ship, it will DQ you. You can apply again later with a waiver. Don't screw around though. As I understand it, weed cycles out of your urine/blood fairly quickly. Just stop a couple months before you ship. IF you are about to ship right now, call your recruiter & tell them some things have come up & you need to get a enw ship date in two months, you're not backing out, you still want to go & you can set a date right now, but just need to put it off for 2 months. They should accomodate you. You really need to grow up & quit that crap though. I don't care about the arguments about alcohol is worse or anything, it's illegal & getting caught will screw you hard. The guard will pay for all kinds of education for you & do lots to help you out training wise. Don't screw up the opportunity.

they provide you an exceedingly constrained quantity of unfastened time in the time of the 1st few weeks. My mom certainly has letters that say in straightforward terms "hi, issues are going ok, love you.." so some distance as i understand they do no longer seek your mail. yet right this is a few suggestion on recieving photos in the mail: you won't have the ability to hide something as quickly because it arrives. So basically understand that if grandma and grandpa deliver you a image, the drill instructor will locate it on your locker and maximum possibly make exciting of you for it. They like to humiliate you. the factor approximately elementary training is which you will no longer understand which you're certainly having exciting until eventually the day you ultimately go away. then you definitely can snicker approximately it. solid success

You will be discharged from the Guard's Delayed Entry Program and then you will require a waiver to get back in, and must wait 45 days to "pee in the bottle" again. Right now, the Guard is not approving many waivers for a positive drug test.
