US Marines! without a doubt! How do I know? 30 years in the corps! Semper Fi! MGSGT WOODALL(RETIRED)
2. Army is close, but not as tough.
3. Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, I respect them but, Boot Camp! HA, HA, AND HA!!!!!
All of them have a great history fighting for this great country, so your question really has no merit. If you are asking because you want to join the military, God Bless, if you are asking because you want to skate through and take the easy way, then just stay out. Don't disrespect all of the brave men and women that have died for this country. As a 30 year Marine I have respect for them all. Something, that you need to learn. And I hope you will.

Marines, Army, AF, Navy/CG
Not really a fair quesiton though. Marine basic (cause every marine a rifleman) includes some of the things taught at the begining of Army Inf school, but the Army doesn't bother to spend the time teaching cooks & clerks intensive fighting skills. The Army does have some fighting skills though & places mroe emphasis on PT as they are preparing people to go on to things like Inf school, plus even cooks & clerks will be behind the lines in a combat zone. The Navy, AF, & CG all dropped the charade as they are basically all support troops. The AF is a little harder than Navy right now becuase they've upped the PT standards. Also, they are tending to deploy mroe troops into traditional Army missions due to pressure on teh Army force. As such they have added some combat skills courses, but still accomplish it in 6 wks.
Who cares anyway. If you're picking a service or thinking one's tougher than the other based on the length or difficulty of basic, you're nuts. Try telling a Seal the Army is tougher than the navy, or a PJ that marines can hang with them. It's a couple months to tranistion you to military life & move on. After about three weeks you snap into shape & the rest isn't hard at all.

I know that if you go through Marine Boot Camp and you do your four years and then decide to join another branch you do not have to go back to basic but if you join any other branch first and you decide to go to another branch after your four years then you have to go back to basic.
So I would have to say that Marine Boot Camp is the toughest I don't know about the rest.
