Where are the rest of the powerful countries? Where is the UN? With all of this crazyness going on in the world. Why is it left up to American And British troops to take care of business? Why do all of you people not see the horror of this situation? Yes people are dying everyday(mostly Americans) Don't give me the oil crap, that's not what it's about, it's about every person in this world to have freedom, the freedom to vote, without fear, the freedom to speak your minds, your freedom to live without fear. the freedom of choice to be happy and think for yourself. Your freedom to go to the college of your choice, the freedom to marry and fall in love with the person of your choice. Your freedom to be YOU!! Your freedom to do what you want with your life! Why don't all of you other countries get it? This is what has made America the greatest country on the Earth. We are willing to fight, not only for our freedoms, but yours. U.N. is not powerful, they are useless, they couldn't stop U.S. from invading Iraq.
Maybe you dun't understand, that U.K. and France and Germany don't have much oil. They'll stand closer to Iran and all those oil-productive countries, same with China.
Oil is power, I suggest U.S. (I'm a Canadian) to hold some scientific research on some new energy such as Hydrogen gas for car-use, and also, I have to remind you that U.S. has tons of oil, but you guys just dun't use your own (only a little).

Wake up buddy your sons,brothers,friends are coming to middle east for oil. You don't give a crap to freedom.
Only thing matters is your own freedom and your own wealth.
There is terrorism going on in middle east for at least 20 years.What were you doing those times(let me tell you...you were selling weapons to them) . It only matters when it touches you.
First of all you have to stop seperating terrorism as ''The ones that attack us'' and ''The ones that attack others''.
Then we can talk about freedoms and peace.

as ex-military myself, you should be well aware that most other countries don't have either the resources or are weinnies. we are fighting in 126 countries right now. over twenty countries are at war. since the war is against isreal and hezbollah, lebanon which is scared to take them on just sits back. the u.s. is waiting to see what happens, but we are ready to go into lebanon, north korea, syria and iran. the u.s. military is waiting for an excuse to go in. there are no dealling with the fanatics but to kill them all as they have no countries. we have many countries waiting ready with us. japan wanted to attack n. korea, but we stopped them. iran, iraq, syria and n. korea all have total nut cases who don't care about killing or being killed. our military is ready to go into iran with massive airstrikes. irans plan is to get all the countries fired up so we would be streched thin. now iran is sending hezbollah to attack u.s. and other allies. many agree that if we wiped out iran, we wouldn't have a fraction of the problems we have. it could very well come to nuclear uses, but the danger is not the hits, but the shockwaves can travel hundreds of miles and more destroying everything in its path. if it goes into another border, you have total world nuke war.

uh... why do you only fight for the freedoms of those that have oil? (except N. Korea... and we're not doing anything there)
What about darfur and somalia, both are 10 times worse than anything going on in the middle east?
or even China?

Because nobody is stupid or powerful enough to take on those things. They're quite happy leaving it up to the US and the Brits (who we cojole into doing it). Then of course, the hate us for it.
