A 2001 study by the Ministry of Defense concluded that only 42.5% of British Marines are gay, with an additional 17.5% being 'bi-' or 'bi-curious'. An additional but uncalculated percentage are Irish. More recent figures are unavailable, due to provisions of the so-called 'Let's Keep It in the Closet, Shall We, Boys?' Act, signed into law by Tony Blair on18 March, 2002.

Hell no 80% of British Marines are not gay,in fact more US marines are gay then the Royal Marines.Weve still got the law that no gays are allowed in the military and the US navy is famous for having loads of gays,the Royal Navy is almost clean.

All the Navy boys are gay. Royal Marines are part of the Royal Navy. James what the hell are you on about? No gays in the military? Of course gays are allowed in the military, That would be dicrimination otherwise.

NO WAY!!!!!!! THE BRITISH ARMED FORCES ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD AND THE MARINES ARE ONE OF THE MOST RESPECTED REGIMENTS IN THE WORLD.!
