During the first conflict with Iraq (Senior Bush’s administration), the US had a defensive ground weapon that knocked incoming enemy warhead from the sky.
They made a very big issue about it, but some times the defensive rocket was released too late and the enemy’s rocket hit the ground (I think it was in Israel).

Hezbollah rockets are hitting their marks, where are the rocket interceptor?
How come we don’t hear anything about it now?
Or did it never really worked?

Does anyone recall? Thanks

Is it true that a veteran only gets health benefits if s/he has a combat-related injury or has been declared disabled? For instance, if a veteran gets some disease when he's 55 (30+ years since discharge and injury is not related to wartime service) can he get any benefits whatsoever? Also, if you know where it says this on the VA site or somewhere else, please tell. Thanks.

Sure fighting with IEDs and fighting in civilian clothing is dirty, but what's terrorist about attacking a foreign military that is in your country? I mean do we seriously not expect them to fight back? I don't agree with their ideals, but don't they have a right to attack us back? Would we still call it terrorism if they fought us directly instead of hiding?

That Question was asked before and everyone then agreed that it will be Israel... now Israel today withdrew it ground forces from Hezbollah strongholds with ever more casualities... The definition of wining is achieving one's objective by the use of combination of military and political means.. who do you think will ultimatly fullfill his objective?

Before you claim, "PREPOSTEROUS !"; read the following irrefutable evidence.

1. We now have access to recorded eye witness accounts, from people inside of the building, reporting explosions taking place.

2. Photographs of the buildings, just before it went down, show molten metal flowing out, from the building.

3. A chemical analysis of the molten metal, found at the site, show traces of a chemical called, "Thermate". Thermate charges are used by professional demolition crews, to cut through steel beams, to demolish buildings. Incidentally, the samples were recovered by a member, of the clean up crew, who kept it as a souvenir memento. Most of the scrap metal, including the pools of molten steel, were recovered by a demolition crew, and illegally destroyed. http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2006/06/341238.shtml

4. Thermate traces have also been found, inside the bodies, of firefighters and clean up crew, who were exposed to the gases, from the molten debris.

a lot of people think we get paid pretty good in the military. Yes we get a lot of benefits in the military but as far as pay, not so much. Many military indiviual live below the poverty line. When I first joined I was told both by my dad and friends that I will be living from pay check to pay check.

I think if minimum rage goes up so should military pay but I know that wont happen.

The terrorists activities in India have sharply risen, thanks to the terrosits camps in Pakistan. India has been the target of terroists since about 16 years. So many innocent lives have been already lost and how is respnsible for this?Given the tolerant attitude of the India the its people the country has never thought of attacking the terrorits camps in Paksitan.I beleieve its high time that India should target the terrorists camps in Paksitan and destroy them. The theories that this will start a nuclear war are all bogus as both countires will be at the receiving end if at all their is a nulcear conflict. What are your views?
