The Marine Corp is the branch of the Department of the Navy designated for real men.

SEALS of course can be drawn from all service branches but I would have a lot more respect for them if they were drawn from the Corp, How can someone go to Naval Basic Training ( if you could call it that) then think they are man enough to be Special Forces.

Of course you kids have no idea what Special Forces really are anyway the US Army Green Beret are the first and the best.
seals make movies Green Beret makes war!

It's traditional. The definition of the term Marine is sea soldier. The original Marine corps were set up to defend the Naval ships because the navy sailors could not do it on their own.

Excuse me, but the U.S. Marines are an autonomous service. As or being the Navy's "personal little army", if you think that, let this marine personally set you straight. I would be happy to do so!

next time you feel like calling navy a bunch of queers. lets see you get that sh!t past a udt/seal. it will be funny to see you get your lungs pulled out of your @ss. ALL branches of the military deserves your respect. Marines are practicly thier own branch, they were created from the Navy.

Urrrr aaaaaaaaaah...

As long as they're always funded and ready, we'll be okay. But I see it in a different color than you - Marines are always first in; the Navy just gets 'em there. Which one is the real fighting force?
