hi, I am stressed out. i have to go to court monday because I live in florida and worked in florida and never switch over my out of state license (pennsylvania). what can i do? does anyone have an idea of what kind of pennalty i can get. the cop that pulled me over said he could have taken me to jail that night. I already went to the dmv and changed my licencse.

i was coming from the club,i didnt take my normal route i decided to take a shorter route so that i could get home early..seconds later i saw a cop car behind me.i didnt panic i just took it easy because i wasnt drinkingg any alcohol..**** as i took the turn the cop started blinking me..the little ****** didnt bother to say ''hi sir good evening please can i see licence and registration''..he said get out of the car with your hands up in the air..seconds later i heard the dog bark..the sound startled me so i jump because i was frightened..next thing the police comments were if i dont cooperate he was goin to let the dog bite me..then my comment were..''isnt that against the law''..he said shut the **** up..then he and 2 other cops started searching my car from top to bottom..i know that im a jamaican and we are known for selling drugs and doin stupid ****..the ******* tore my **** up..then he started searching me..he took off my hat,unbutton my shirt,.took out my wallet out my pocket and took my money out of my pocket,.it was like i was a convict and i didnt have any rights..i felt violated..its 19 degrees and the cop wanted me to sit on the cold pavement..would they tell a white man to do that..i refused and they took me by my belt and put me in the cop car..they wrote me 3 tickets when it was all over..he called me a retard..i know im young and i drive a nice car..but they acted like i was a drug dealer..

its it right for a police officer to take my wallet out my pocket ..and searched through it...he stopped me for a rtraffice violation..he even searched my car and opened my car trunk..

A few years ago, I was selling a solution manual on ebay and then it was taken of of ebay and I got a letter from the publisher of the book whos solution manual I was selling. He said this was copyright infringement and so they could take me to court over this. They are in USA and I am in Canada.

The letter started by telling me about the copyright laws. Then it said that we can settle this matter without the inconvenience of a lawsuit.

a couple of months ago my friend got arrested at a bar because of some brawl she was in. everyone went running and her and her then roommate were the only two arrested. they happened to be on apposing sides of the bar fight so when they got to jail the cops put them on opposite sides of it. my friends roommate was placed in the female side of the jail and my friend got stuck in her own cell in the male side. we don't understand why they did this. so she spent the night there (shes an EXTREMELY heave sleeper) and when the cops came to wake her up and move her they had a hard time getting her up. They pulled the matress out from under her and in a spazmatic move from getting woken up so suddenly, she jolted up and accidentally kicked the cop in the process. so now, not only does she have to go to court for the initial bar fight charges, she also has to attend court for assaulting an officer. is there anything she can do about this?

My boyfriend was put on probation back in march or so for posession of controlled substance [adhd medication that someone left in his car, drug dogs searched and found at school]. He got 2 years probation. He was supposed to go to court on Monday but, didn't know about it so didn't show up. Next thing you know, his probation officer is calling him telling him he needs to go up there because he missed court... then they took him to jail. THey set his bail at $100,000 dollars... How long can or will they hold him? Our baby is due in 2 weeks and 6 days, and I wanted so badly for him to be there..

Everyday when I think of imprisonment and solitary confinement I gain frequent erections and want to be there.
I want to be on my own, in danger, in a hole, scared to death.

I have a $200 ticket for running a red light (it was a right on red where you can't take a right on red..)

There are these fix-a-ticket clinics all over Florida that say they can fix it for me for $80 and there will be no points on my license and i won't have to go to driver training school nor take an online course....

I just can't understand how it works.. I'm happy to pay $80 instead of $200 but does anyone understand how it works?

I interest get in to the Deputy Sheriffs in L.A. ? is it very danger career? is it more danger than LAPD or city cops? How is the hire process like? is the exam tough? what are some physical requirement? like push up/sit up and run time? I am living with the landlord in north California. The rent include everything like electric, hydro, cable etc. He never open the heat during the winter so I bought myself a heater in my bedroom. My landlord found out and asked me to pay extra eletric fee for the heater. I just came here from Canada 4 months ago so I am not familiar with the renting here. Isnt it everyone in north California open the heat during winter?? And is the landlord responsible for the heat in the house? Where can I find the information or whom can I ask for help about this? I have been pulled over in both NJ and NY recently, but my license is from CT where I live. My question is, which points sytem is used? Do I get the amount of points that the infraction would be worth in the state I got pulled over in? Or do they just send a report of my speeding, etc. to the CT DMV and the CT points system is used?

I.E. Speeding 25 over the limit in NJ is (I think) 4 points, but in CT I think it's only 1 or 2. So do I have 4 points on my license because I got pulled over in NJ or do I have 1-2 points because your home state's point system is used no matter where you get pulled over?

Here is the debate I am haveing with my wife (WE LIVE IN NEVADA) We went to california this weekend . When she drives she goes back and forth from the far left lane to the next to left far left lane at about 5 miles over the posted spead limit only entering the FAST LANE to pass slower traffic. She changes lanes about every 1 to 2 min , most of the way to Los Angeles is only two lanes. I on the other hand ...BEING THAT THE TRIP IS ABOUT 4 and 1 half HOURS... Get in the fast lane traveling 5 to 7 miles over the posted spead limit. She says the left lane a.k.a. fast lane is a passing lane only and I need to stay out of the way of faster moveing vehicles ... If I am going slightly over the max speed premited by law why do I need to get out of the way of people doing well over the posted speed???? 90 to 110 mph!!! Is it a FAST LANE or a PASSING LANE and is it not legal to make constant lane changes???

Im thinking of going to the LA police Academy when i turn 21 im 19 now and have my GED and will be moveing to LA if i do go to the academy but my dad says maybe its not a good idea because its a very stressfull job and i will always be working and what not, so i was wondering are cops ALWAYS on call? and is it a good careeer? any information will help me out thanks.

ever heard of a fake id that never got taken away? well mine is on that streak right now. i have been using it for about 6-7 months and it has worked everytime with casino managers, dealers, security guards, store owners, liquor stores, scans, etc.
Think my streak will continue?

I want to know how can someone go about changing PO officer? My friend is on parole and his PO is giving him a real hard time. The PO has told my friend that he will do everything in his power to put him back in jail. My friend has been complying with all the rules but his PO keeps on giving him a hard time. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
