I certainly hope not. You've already proven yourself untrustworthy.

I have to disagree with these folks. Juvenile adjudications are NOT "convictions". They are civil in nature, and do not count as a conviction. I tell juvenile offenders every day that they can truthfully complete future job applications by saying NO, they have not ever been "convicted" of a felony. The only juveniles who WOULD be considered "convicted" would be those tried as adults.

In nine years with my department, I have never seen any reference to the Federal Firearms Act applying to juveniles, and as a department, we have to advise EVERY convicted adult felon of that Act and that they can never own a firearm.

You do not indicate what state your are from and as such it's difficult to say what your state law dictates.

However, most states prohibit the possession of handguns and other firearms if convicted of a felony as an adult or circumstances involving serious crimes or felonies as a juvenile.

You should contact your local district attorneys office to determine if you do or do not qualify to possess a firearm!

No.

However, if you petition to have your juvenile felony record expunged you MIGHT be able to legally purchase a gun.

You would have to:
a) file the petition
b) have the petition granted
c) consult law enforcement / an attorney as to your current status as far as being a convicted felon or not

Hmm.. a 'felony' is defined as a crime punishable by more that a year in jail or a fine of $1000 or more. If your felony was committed with a weapon, or raised above the level of aggrivated assault, then no, your juvenile record will remain with you past age 18. What'd you do?
