Deep inside, i really dont want to fight. I didnt join the US army to do harm on americans. I'm receiving derogatory statements and with threats over the internet from individuals that have too much pride. I dont want to use a hand-gun, knife, taser, or anything that will bring up ideas on the opposite side if i show these weapons. I just want this unneccessary violence to stop without having to use any self-defense inventory.

What can I do to stop these threats?

I was too quick to save these statements that were written to me. I fear a mob will come to my house and destroy my property. Help!

I live in a city with a very high crime rate, and usually all crimes are drug-related. If drugs were legal and sold for cheap prices at drug stores wouldn't that help cut down on crime a lot?

This was the incident happened last weekend. My wife and I had an argument followed by physical assaults (couple of slaps on the back). She, out of anger, called 000 and said she is being hit. Police came after a while and arrested me and put a charge "Common Assault-T2". They issues ex-parte AVO against me.

Well, we are married for over 4 years now with one child about 2 years. We are happy family with usual arguments at times but it has never went this far. My wife now regrets of her making a call on 000, which she did in anger and impatience.

Now, can someone from you guide me what could happen in the court in 2 weeks time? We are single income family (I am earning member) and have mortgage upon us. We can't really tolerate any big penalties or jail term at all. If that happens, it would be disaster and would destroy the family and especially 2 year old kid's life.

How can we survive this? I heard someone saying that if you are sorry about this,n

I’ve noticed in my home town in the UK that some pelican crossings no longer have the flashing amber & act just like an ordinary traffic light.
My question is, by law you can move off if the amber light is flashing & no pedestrian is on the crossing, but what if you moved off on one of these fixed amber lights, can you get done for this offence or any other offence on lights that according to the Highway Code are not true pelican.

My wife was driving in the center lane when she was hit by a car at the rear. Due to this impact, she was pushed to the right lane and she hit the vehicle in front of her in the right lane. At the scene, my wife told the above and the guy behind us agreed that the above happened. But when the report came out from the police, it says that my wife hit the vehicle in front of her and had stopped. Vehicle 3 at the back could not control in time and hit her at the back.. Why would the office lie in the report and present a new version? Added to this, he has depicted that the vehicle in front of us was in front of us in the center lane while it was in the next lane(rightmost lane)? What should I do in this situation? I callled the police station and they said that the report is final and cannot be changed? I think, its unfair to me since i have been a victim and they have made me a culprit. Please advice.

My driver claims that he used to be a police officer in Indiana but I find it hard to believe since he was only 20 when he joined the Army. Does anyone know the age requirements and if so where you can find them. I know you don't qualify for the pension program unless you're over 21. I'm just curious cuz we listen to him tell bullshit stories all day every day and I'm tired of it.

My ex-fiance came home drunk and assaulted me. I am not pressing charges. However, the D.A. is. I have been asked to talk to the D.A. on his behalf. His charges include Assault 4, Harassment, and (the worst of the charges) Interferring with a Police officer... When I called 911, he ripped the phone out of my hand, and broke it in 2. Apparently, that is a big no no. I know. I'm pitiful for helping... but that's the way these things work. However, if I help him get the charges dropped, he'll move to another town, and I'll never have to see him again.

one of my friends was imprisoned with charges of intent of homicide, (bad, i know). the problem is that there was so many people, and one of them got stabbed, and was in critical conditions. After he got stabbed, my friend got to the place of occurence and then the police got there too, since he didnt know what was happening he didnt run, and the police got him and charged him. No weapon was ever found in my friends posession, no blood on him or anything to really incriminate him. hes never been involved in something like this, HELP, can they keep him in jail with no proof??

Say something on the line of F*** the police or drug related songs. Would the cop give me a harder time just because of the music I listen to, or would he actually respect my freedom of speech and my rights?
