Well, since I am licensed to carry a concealed weapon, it would probably be the last time that particular carjacker ever pointed a gun at anyone.
However, if I were unarmed, I would comply, but when I got to the passenger side of the vehicle, I would keep going right on out the passenger door.

Well I always leave room and I am always aware of my surroundings. Some police trainers call it staying in "condition yellow". So hopefully the bad guy would not get close enough.
I have taught my children to always be aware, especially when driving and to follow their instincts along with leaving themselves an out. They would just quickly move the car away as fast as the could (they know a red light means nothing when your getting attacked) and get far away before contacting 911.
Reasoning is simple, unless the bad guy wants you specifically like in a vendetta, all they want is your car or possessions. There are plenty of others around to get that from when you are gone.
It has happened to me off duty. I saw what looked like a bad guy coming up on my driver's side. I checked out my options, once I determined that he was indeed going to pull a gun I had room to pull quickly away, into the intersection, sure some cars almost hit me and they honked but so what. In this specific case I then backed into him quickly knocking him off his feet. I was out with my weapon quickly and was able to hold him at gunpoint until on duty backup arrived.

Move to the passenger seat and plan an escape. If I don't he or she will kill me. That's a statistical fact, but I have to get out of the car or I also will die. That too is a statistical fact.

Hello, this is a good question. Of course all the officers out there know what they are going to do. I never leave home without my partner ( 40 glock ) . Like cgiv76 said, that carjacker will never do that again! The only regret I would have is the SBI blackflaging me until there investigation was completed to see if it was a justified kill. I'm out of work until they clear me! Sometimes it's fast, sometimes not!

I would try and draw my gun, and if I was able I would kill the attacker. I would do this to protect myself.
Were I without my gun for some crazy reason, I'd hammer the accelerator and get out of there and dial 911. Again, I'd do this to protect myself.

Squeeze the trigger on mine.
Why? The person has already proven that they mean you harm.
