The trailer had bad tyres, no lights... After his release, he doesnt turn up for his producer and now has kindly left the island as he is not a uk national. I now received court papers in his name but my address. Who is responsible? Can I be blamed for the use of a trailer I was not aware of?

I quit smoking yesterday and today I got a speeding tickt for going 131 km's in a 100 zone. I know that is why because I can't think of anything else right now besides smoking and I never speed. This is my first ticket ever. Do you think they will understand and reduce or eliminate the fine or am I just going to be wasting my time?

Inside the classrooms are the hardest to stop crime because cameras can’t be placed in here and some can be used as a place to hang out during break time. How can we stop the vandalism here?

p.s. Other ways off stopping crime too

My ex-husband is an abusive addict who, quite frankly, I more than a bit frightened of. I would like to get a restraining order against him to proctect both me and my son. However, I was told by the DA's office that they must have an address to serve him. He is homeless, so I cannot provide them an address. Does this mean that I am out of luck? Is there any way around this? Seems like an awful loophole in the system.

It is very loud when you are on the street near a siren so its a wonder police/ambulance drivers don't go deaf listening to that awful screech.

All the village people know the fact that our family is innocent (booked under 14 sections, 302 etc..)Police have harassed the witnesses to report against us.When, they refused, the police is not ready to file the charge sheet as yet(almost after 1.5 yrs). Also, police is demanding a huge bribe(nearly 3 lakhs) from us.We have sent a complaint to the DGP of tamilnadu,India but in vain. The case is filed in tamilnadu,India.

At the moment the UK’s Illegal drug trade is worth £4.6bn.
The cost to the UK to police it, insurance for criminal damage and lost work hours is between £12 to 18bn.

Its predicted that 55% of property crime is related to fundraising to buy illegal drugs.

Why do we spend so much money trying to change something that CAN NOT be changed?

The price of 1 kg of cocaine is £1,000 in Columbia, but its £30,000 over here, those profits result in international criminal gangs taking over, more crime, more human trafficking etc

The police says that its best efforts do not change the market that much. They have been taking more and more drugs off the streets, but the prices keep getting cheaper.

In 2004/5
4.65 million ecstasy tables were confiscated. But you can still but them from £2-5 each.
83 tonnes of cannabis and 88,000 plants were confiscated, but the price has not changed.

Are we ever going to make this legal, tax it and stick drug abusers in rehab rather than prison?

She was in a vehicle with two males and another female. The vehicle was in the parking lot of an elementary school. Police pulled up and found drugs in the pocket of one one the males. at that point the remaining three who were not arrested at this time were told that if there were drugs in the car, they would all be arrested but since there was only one individual with drugs on his person, they arrested him and told the others to go home. Now the criminal investigator called her step father to bring her in for some questioning. Juveniles can wave their right to questions as adults can, but her father nor mother were present and she wasnt under arrest so she willingly answered the interigators questions. Now she has been asked by the same investigator to come in for more questioning on wednesday. She was not arrested. should her lawyer be present to avoid anymore incrimination of herself?
