Inside the classrooms are the hardest to stop crime because cameras can’t be placed in here and some can be used as a place to hang out during break time. How can we stop the vandalism here?

p.s. Other ways off stopping crime too

This is an impossible question. Let's be honest, crime cannot be stopped, only minimized. Without total control of a person the elimination of crime will not be possible. Anyway the real way to have an impact is to convince the kids themselves that it is OK to tell on somebody. All their life we tell them or make remarks about tattling or snitching on somebody and how they should not do it. We need to convince them that having those things is not cool and it's OK to tell even if it means that person won't be their friend or somebody will get in trouble. Only when kids are willing to tell on their friends will the crime in schools go down.

I think going in the schools today is a very scary thing.Kids don't hit each other any more they actually are killing them. They need those security things like they have in the malls to detect for thieves.Or those things at the airports to detect metal. When the children walk through a beeping sound goes off and the paticular child should be searched. This will stop knives and guns from entering the school.

I know this may sound way out there but I think each child should be personally escorted to each room or rest rooms cafeteria etc in groups of 5 to 10 by an armed guard and if one gets out of line taze them or some other harsh form of discipline.I would be willing to sign a release form for my child to be popped with a 2x4 paddle like in the old days but maybe some other parents would be willing to sign similar forms and the parents who don't send their kids to a school like I mentioned in the beginning with armed guards and keep them together in groups of 5 to 10 and zap their butts for ANY form of aggression or attempt to destruct property or another solution would to have school everyday at the local jail house.

Well, basically by locking all classrooms that are not in use, and if a student wants to use a room, they must sign it out and be held accountable for any damage done.

Schools should also make sure that all rooms not in use are locked and not allow students to loiter in rooms alone.

Other ways - too often schools are too easy on the school criminals. They should be harsher, even if it means pissing off the parents ("Not my kid").
