My vehicle is a registered sedan, and I received a parking ticket on which "Subn" (suburban) was chosen. Is this error enough that my ticket will be considered defective and therefore dismissed?

What authoirty do the police actually have that normal people don't. I mean a citizen can place someone under citizens arrest can't they. Is it a criminal offence to resist a citizens arrest from a citizen?
And if a police officer asks you to do something or trys to do something that he doesn't have the authority to do (for example move you away from an area when you have a legal right to be there and are doing nothing wrong or if he asked you to pull your pants down for no reason), or tries to arrest you because he thinks you've broken the law, but you haven't and he just doesn't understand the law properly, then are you technically within your legal rights to resist arrest or to ignore the order?

Can a citizen technically place a police officer under citizens arrest if the citizen believes the officer has broken the law?

p.s i'm referring to UK law here, but it would be interesting to know what the law would be in these matters in other countries aswell, thanks.

Not once in my police career did I do a DUI, go to a fight or answer a domestic violence call where MJ was the catalyst, it was always Alchohol. I got to believe Uncle Sam can't get a piece of the pie you can grow in your yard.

About seven years ago, I had my GA license revoked for failure to pay a speeding ticket. I sold my car and haven't owned a car or driven since. If I apply for a new DL in Kentucky, will they be able to tell my GA license was revoked, and if so, will they detain me or try to arrest me for the fine in GA, which still isn't paid?

8 days before Christmas, after 1 1/2 months of waiting, one month longer than they told us, we move in. Well the previous tenant smoked, and drank, and the house reeked. The landlords said they would clean it, but the walls were not painted, the nasty carpet had not been cleaned. The guy lived there for four years, and nothing was done. Well I smoked a cigarette outside, and put the butt on the ground, being there was no where to put it yet in the empty house. The landlord stopped by, saw the butt, and started screaming get out, get out, and running out of the yard like a five year old child. We were confused beign that the prior tenant smoked. there were no repairs to the house, so what is the big deal? Well anyway, we treid calling and calling, and when they answered they would not let us get a wrod in edge wise, and they kicked us out. they broke a oral agreement and now Im screwed. What would you do. She really screwed us

my uncle was pulled over in oregon and the officer notified him he had a warrent for theft in colorado. he was given a traffic ticket but not detained or extradited. he was then pulled over in idaho and put in custody for a warrent of failure to comply with a felony probation but didn't mention the theft warrent. why didn't they mention the theft warrent in idaho but did in oregon and vise versa. shouldn't oregon have extradited him for the failure to comply? why did idaho detaine him and not oregon?

I'm a senior in high school and I am interested in being a police officer. i am alredy accepted to SF State Univ. with a criminal justice major. I am not really sure what the Criminal Justice program will help me with. What does the criminal justice program really offer and teach and how will it help me with a career in the law enforcement? The details given by schools seem very vague and unspecified. And what other career options would i have with going with this major? I am not interested in pysch, sociology or political science so those wouldn't be another option for a degree. What are the benefits with getting a BA before joining the force? I also want to know what i can do to prepare myself for a career in law enforcement at this stage in time. thanks
