Seems like some of the yahoo participants think theyre some kind of yahoo rule enforcers. "Is there a question"? If you dont see a question than its probably not,its probably a statement. "Whats this have to do with celeberties(or religion, sports, ect)? Who cares!

I heard on the radio that in one municipalty the city council enacted an ordinance prohibiting loud music from vehicles, and lo and behold, about 60% of the traffic stops resulted in arrests for drug possesion, illegal firearms, underage drinking, unlicensed or expired licenses, and uninsured operators. Are criminals that stupid that they want to draw attention to themselves, or has rap music caused brain damage?

If a crime is committed against a american in a foreign land, can the person responsible be brought back to the United States and tried for the crime, and how would you go about doing this? Also, the person that committed the crime is not a american.

I would think to peform an eviction you would have police officers present and not a single PCSO, and if they are using them for these tasks why are they not supplied proper equipment.

I was stopped by a police officer during the daytime on Friday. He asked me to come back to his car with him while he checked my driver's licence.

I know that I am not obligated to do so, and that there have been cases in which women were attacked because of situations like this. This time, because it was the middle of the day and on a busy highway, I complied, and nothing bad happened. However, I would like to know what sort of response I should have to the situation in the future. An internet search didn't produce informative results (all the keywords I can think of are too broad), but I am wondering if people know of internet resources for researching your rights when stopped by a police officer and/or what you can do if you are being made uncomfortable without coming off as insubordinate.

I am trying to argue for my law class that a girl who s paid to masturbate in front of a man could not be arrested for prostitution if there is no physical contact. Does anyone have any arguments against this, am I correct?

MY HUSBAND WAS FLOWN FROM GARDEN CITY TO WICHITA, KANSAS DUE TO MEDICAL EMERGENCY. HE IS THE ONLY LICENSED PERSON IN OUR HOME AND WE ARE NEW TO THE AREA. WHEN GOING THROUGH DODGE CITY, KS. I WAS STOPPED FOR SPEEDING. IT WAS 30 MPH AND I WAS GOING 50 MPH. I WAS DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED LICENCES FROM OKLAHOMA.

I WAS GIVEN A TICKET FOR NOT HAVING INSURANCE IN VAN, DRIVING WITH NO LICENSES AND DRIVING WITH SUSPENDED LICENSES PLUS THE SPEEDING.

I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN DRIVING IF I HAD A CHOICE. SHOULD I TRY TO FIGHT THE CHARGES? LIKE BRING PROOF OF MY HUSBAND BEING SENT TO HOSPITAL BY PLANE AND HE HOLDS THE LICENSES IN HOME.

OR SHOULD I JUST PAY A FINE?

COULD I SEE JAIL TIME? WHAT IF I HAVE A WARRANT OUT FOR MY ARREST IN OKLAHOMA? NOT SURE IF I HAVE ONE OR NOT.

HE GAVE ME THE TICKET AND LET ME GO ON TO WICHITA. I WAS SO UPSET I GOT LOST IN DODGE CITY FOR NEARLY A HOUR. IS THIS A GOOD SIGN? I HAVE COURT ON DEC. 19TH.

having sex with someone other than your wife? I know a man who supposedly lost his job for getting a woman (who wasn't his wife) pregnant. Is this possible? This guy had a reputation for being a womanizer, but come on! He was a damn good cop, and was supposedly fired for getting this woman pregnant.

Law Enforcement Personnel, this question is directed to you since you are intimate with each term. Thanks.

Occassionally, I hear the two terms on TV, movies and radio, but I don't understand the difference between them. Even associations use the term "peace officer" in their names, e.g., California Peace Officers Association (am not certain this entity exists).

I just found out that the bounced check crime im being charged with is actually a Class B Felony. Its in the State of New Hampshire... I have never committed a crime before, i have a perfectly clean record and this was all a mistake, one that i failed to resolve. However i also have a good job, a place to live, and a decent future. So my question is, what is the likelyness that i will have to serve jail time? that would ruin everything i have, and probably impair my future beyond what i can imagine, even if it was only for months... Does an honestly good person who made a mistake and has a clean past go to jail? or will they take that all into consideration? Im sorry im just totally freaking out to think i will lose what i have worked so hard for.

If you get pulled over by an unmarked car, Is there a phone number you can call to verify if the person pulling you over is really a cop or not? Do you just call 911 to check? I live in SC...for now

i was wondering what's the most appropriate behaviour when you get pulled over? How far can you drive before you stop? put your hazards on or not? Turn your lights (inside the car) on if it's at night? Where to put your hands? You know just routine stops. I've never been pulled over and i don't wanna screw up my first one cause i panic and don't know what to do - in case it happens -
