I made a few remixes of various songs and would like to post them on myspace using an artist's profile; so I decided to create my own. While I was reading the TOS it said that I'm supposed to verify that the content is legally mine and that I won't post other Artists' work.

So, I was wondering if I would be covered by the TOS and be able to post my content or if I would have to go about obtaining royalties in order to be covered "legally" by MySpace's TOS

Let's say someone just walks around the mall, window shopping for 3 hours, is this legal? It fits from what I could tell the definition of loitering, but I never heard of people getting kicked out of malls for such activity.

Recently i have noticed a huge increase in the amount of pit bulls in my small town, it seems like everyone has one and everywhere i look i see more for sale. they roam the town freely and are free to intimidate everyone. we only have one dog catcher and our town has about 5 thousand people. i know of at 4 attacks in the last year becuase they were in the paper and i have heard of many more. they are killing cats and other dogs as well. what can i do to get the county to consider a ban on pit bulls?

P.S- i don't want to hear about how great you think they are i just want an answer.

I don't understand how the government is entitled to percentages of earned wages before the worker ever gets their check. This sounds A LOT like putting money into a central pot.....a bit like Communism......bottom line, you don't have a choice.

Somebody that I worked with received a fake $100 bill. He was looking at it fairly closely and something looked off, but couldn't pin point it, so he entered it in the register and then gave the customer his changed. Right after he noticed it, but by then, the guy was gone. He notified my boss right away and handed it to the police to investigate. It was really a five dollar bill, turned in to 100, undetectable by the magic marker.

Lets say, he never noticed that the 100 dollar bill was counter fit and put it into the register. Then a customer wants $100 cash back when he/she does debit, and the customer ask if he has a $100 bill. The guy I work with then gives him/her the fake counterfeit $100 bill, will the person that got the money back get into trouble. If the mistake went unnoticed as it did and slipped by, then it could have been giving to someone that does has no idea it is counterfeit. Would they be arrested and then prosecuted. Would it stand up in court.

Can someone please explain to me what the laws are as regards copying music? I ask because i am forever coming across bands online who cover music and surely they haven't all asked permission first which is what i thought you had to do? I know some people take liberties but the sheer volume of those doing it makes me think i may have got the laws wrong. Do they need permission or not?

If the law in Sudan meant that the teacher got in trouble, why didn't the children get in trouble too? The teacher only let the children name the teddy bear Muhammad, whereas it was the children that actually chose the name.

I moved out of this particular house in July 2007. At the time, the landlord (who lived at the same house) was out of the country. I was told I would get the security deposit ($400) back when he arrived back.

He returned in September and then informed me that he did not have the funds because the account he put it in was drained on house repairs that did not involve me and would give me a check when it became available. Over the last few months, he has kept telling me the same story. This guy does not have a job and makes money off of freelancing computer projects.

At this point I am finished being patient and he won't answer any e-mails or phone calls. I am stopping by the house one more time tomorrow.

Should I get a lawyer for this matter even though it's small claims? I am unaware of the interest rate I WOULD have received. I live in Maryland.

Happened on a Friday and fired on Wed. Long story short. Where I worked we got patient phone calls which are suppose to be given out evenly to all workers. That day I received calls and others didn't so 3 minute before lunch I received another pt phone call I made a comment "wow i got another call" and took the call. My coworker said she was going to call the front desk AND SHE DID. It was mentioned if there are any problems with phone calls don't call the front desk, but everyone still does. So my coworker said I should call the girl at the front desk because she doesn't have my phone calls marked down. So on impluse I called her and she mentioned she didn't have any calls marked down for me I told her I will bring to supervisor. I did and told supervisor I called front desk..said sorry and asked if they could check calls...next thing i no they said I was rude to recpt (which I wasn't) they believe her cause she is sweet and nice..I got fired and other coworker that first called didnt

Professor Steven Jones has actually tested steel samples from the towers, he definitely found thermate traces. The one major thing he did point out was 'yellow molten metal' flowing from the impact floors. Its on all the news footage so theres no denying it happened. Now the only material on earth that can flow yellow in a liquid state is thermate (Im no scientist but I would presume its the sulfur that makes it appear yellow.) Now Ive seen the videos, so have millions of people , most without realising what they were looking at. But Steven Jones is a very learned man, he studies things like this, and I believe what he has found is definite proof of thermate cutting charges. If you believe Bush's story or not you need to watch a free to air doco called "911 Mysteries" it offers up a multitude of reasons why 911 happened the way it did, most if not all of them scarily believable.....
The film maker Sofia Smallstorm cannot tell you that it definitely was an inside job, all she does is present the facts and once youve watched it you will start thinking....that much I can promise you.
And one more thing while Im here........the Bush apologists will always argue that the steel didnt need to melt to cause the floors to collapse, thats fair enough BUT. What they expect us to believe is that the support clips all failed at the impact floors which caused a pancake effect right??? Seems like a reasonable argument, even the official report tells us the floors pancaked. But there is one major flaw that they cant explain and Ill tell you what it is. For a floor to pancake it has to fall through space to hit the floor beneath it, this breaks the supports holding up the lower floor and so on (about 80 times till the mass reaches ground level.) now even if we give each floor an amazingly fast half second to travel through that space crushing all the support steel, girders, steel mesh, interior walls, office furniture etc, the real world time for the impact floors to reach ground level should have been around 40 seconds!!! (thats 80 storeys collapsing in a half second each!!!!
That plainly did not happen because THERE WAS NO PANCAKING!!!! The towers dropped within 14 seconds, almost as fast as freefal speed!!! And the only way that could have happened was by severing the 48 steel columns at the core, and probably severing the foundation steel in the basements also, there is no two ways about it.
The Bush apologists physics dont hold up to scrutiny, they dont hold up to critical analysis, and why so many videos all over the net showing survivors and firemen, cops and reporters all mentioning explosions inside the buildings?
