My husband owns a home with his father. On the original deed is- My husband, his father and his ex wife. On the mortgage is my husband and his father (not the ex wife)
My husband got the house when he divorced his ex wife.
He lived in it for about 2 years after the divorce was final then when we decided to get married we wanted to sell it. When we put the for sale sign up his ex asked if she could buy it. We were in a hurry to move and said yes. We let her and the children move in under the conditions (verbal agreement) that she would secure her own financing. My husband signed a quit claim deed to her. His father did not. The quit claim deed was notarized but it was NOT filed. Now she is requesting that he sign another quit claim to her, I think because she lost the first one and it didn't have all the right info on it. We have been trying to get her to finance it for a year and she still hasn't. We are now weighing our legal options...what are they?

I intend to write an anonymous to a company of my ex who had affairs with men in her company so that she gets the sack. Is there any legal implication if I do so. I want to teach the **** who cheated on me from time and time again.

There have been two in the news recently and both were raping young kids.

Both were repeat offenders. Doesn't this show that these sick people should NEVER be allowed in open society EVER again?

I say we just kill them and be done but I would settle for life in prison if it truly meant LIFE. Make it so no bleeding heart cry babies can't get them out in 50 years or whatever.

I'd say give them a choice, life in prison or the death penalty. But it is hard life also. No TV, no privileges at all! I personally would torture them to death for the suffering they have caused and will keep causing their victims. I would drag out the torture for weeks or years if possible. The poor kids will suffer a lifetime.

Does that sound fair?

I was at an outdoor Boy Scout event two weeks ago and lost my digital camera. I made my way to lost and found about two hours later and asked if they had found my camera. They said YES, the Council head honcho has it in his pocket but he is heading over to the entertainment area to introduce the evening entertainment. I was getting ready to leave because the weather was bad so they took down all my information and I got the guys name and number. I finally got in touch with him today. He said, yes he had the camera but later turned it in to lost and found. The problem is, someone made off with the camera (so much for a scout is trustworthy...) My question is, do they have any responsibility to safeguard my camera after they found it? I was hoping they would help pay for a new camera but they refuse. I know, I know...I lost it - my problem and I'm OK with that but it just doesn't seem right to me.

When compared to other legal drugs i think that cannabis is harmless.

Smoking tobacco. This can cause cancer and is highly addicitve, but yet is 100% legal to over 18's in England.

Smoking Cannabis can also cause health problems, such as cancer, but isnt highly addcitive, in fact your body doesnt begin to rely on it at all, except from mentally, but if you get into a habit of anything then your body will struggle to anything differently.

Alcohol. I know that when i walk around the streets of swindon and look around i can see countless drunk people causing trouble, detroying property and fighting and they are all drunk. How many stoners do you know that do this BECAUSE of cannabis. i dont know one, and i know many.

Im nearly 18, in full time education, with 100% attendance and am doing very well, i have been bought up around cannabis and have smoked it everyday for over a year. Im a normal person and hate being called a druggy.

what do you think?

My husband has cheated on me and I need to hire a lawyer in order to protect my interests and those of my son... but I don't have any money. My husband made the money and I stayed home with our son. Recently he'd told me to leave the house so I left with our son and moved in with my parents. We didn't have any savings and there's barely anything left in our checking account (he's still left me on our joint checking account so that I can withdraw money as needed to pay for food or clothing, etc).

We've been married about 3 and a half years. Our son is 2 years old and I'm also worried about custody. I live in Arizona, the Phoenix area. Is my best bet to go through friends and to see if they can find a lawyer they know who would take me on pro bono, or are there free services out there for people like me that I've never heard of?

You build your dream house you settle in and life is beautiful but because of a change in law the property is taken from you and you cannot do anything. You are allowed to live in the shed at the end of the yard, what would you do? Would you fight for your land and property or just back down and let the new owners do what they want?

My dad died intestate in NC two months ago. His girlfriend of 30 years made funeral home arrangements and took money from his bank account to cover the cost. She said that she would dispose of my Dad's other assets - two vehicles, a utility trailer, some heavy equipment, clothing and personal items. She gave me a few things of sentimental value and has not been very cooperative when I have asked questions. My Dad owed me $6000 when he passed. He and GF never lived together, but she considers herself next of kin. She has no interest in going to County Clerk to be appointed administrator of his estate and I am overseas. I called the court and they said to hire a lawyer, but I think I would spend more than I would recover! Help!

California codes particularly. My maid drove it into the pool about a week ago, and I figure it's pretty well shot by now. So instead of dragging out what is probably a worthless hunk of steel, I though I would stock the pool with some nice fish. I think the car would make for a welcome environment for them.
But I don't want the city coming after me for some violation.

Im 19 years old and need to be emancipated from my parents. Im still under my adoptive mother even though Im past the age of 18 because I never filed for my taxes and a few other techincal things that many people dont realize, but your not fully out of underneath your parents until your 21 birthday. My step father tried to rape me. My mother walked in and started calling me all kinds of names then she attacked me. I had a bruised, swollen eye,& a cut on my face. I was then thrown out on the streets. This all happend Thursday. Ive been living on the streets since then. spending my days in the library and my nights on the park bench. Ive thought about pressing charges but no one will belive me. I have NO EVIDENCE because it was only attempted rape. And my step father is a pillar of the community. Im also afraid of what my family and his will say. They all think I'm lying. I just want to get emancipated so that I can start college. I cant do that while im still under my mother. PLEASE HELP!

I went to court recently and received a judgement against me. I am ordered to pay now, but can't, as I now am a single mom to 3 kids, jobless (but receive just enough child support to almost pay my necessary bills), and just plain broke! So, yesterday, I get a letter in the mail from the debt collectors that said they are going to use the sheriff's intervention. What can they do? Take me to jail? Hit my bank account that has all of $20 in it? I called them and the collector said they have to have a minimum of $100 per month, which I am unable to do (I asked if they'd take $20/month, but they said no), so I asked what they could do, and he said he could not give me legal advice of any kind. So I am so scared that I could go to jail and be away from my kids! I am trying to go to school so I am eventually able to pay off my debts that I so stupidly made for myself (poor decision-making when I was young- too many credit card offers tempting me). HELP!

Unbeknownst to me, my butler Anthony has been aggressivly persueing my maid Maria. Which rather suprised me. I thought he was gay. I always trusted his selection of attire due to that misconception.
Anyway, she has filed suit against me because now, because of Anthony, she has realized that she is gay herself. I don't understand it either.
I don't have any problem with her conversion. It's not like I'm going to fire her. So why are there any damages?

actions i need to take. If i was stopped and accused of DUI the officer made me perform at least 4 tests to try and prove that i was unable to operate a vehicle, i had been drinking but not to the point where i couldn't operate a vehicle, i'm about to have a jury trial come up and i was told that i should plead guilty because i'm not suppose to drink anything well i feel that doesn't make since because that wouldnt make since for bars and such where people have socialble drinks all the time and duh the whole world does so i felt there would be cops on everyone all day. legal limit is .08 and i blew just that. i felt i passed all the test to prove i'm able to operate a vehicle to get home at least. I have a jury trial coming up but a PD tried to get me to plead guilty saying the field test dont matter i blew .08 nothing matters so i was wanting to get some insight from experienced attorneys on my chances or any advice that they may have. THANKS

I think the smoking ban is worse for non smokers like me than it was before. At least before you had a choice to whether you entered into a bar of smokers or not. Now smokers are all lined up outside stinking the street out to everyone who has to walk past.
I had been exposed to more smoke since the smoking ban came in to force than when people could smoke in public enclosed spaces.
I say let pubs and other social areas that have heavy amount of smokers keep on smoking in there. At least they are keeping it to theirselves.

until they are 4ft 9 in tall. Well, I'm wondering, isn't that a little extreme? I mean I'm only 5ft tall myself. And I know one woman who is only 4ft tall and so by that law she would be in a booster seat to driver her own car! And she is a grown woman too!
Isn't that 4ft 9 in deal a little extreme?
