There have been two in the news recently and both were raping young kids.

Both were repeat offenders. Doesn't this show that these sick people should NEVER be allowed in open society EVER again?

I say we just kill them and be done but I would settle for life in prison if it truly meant LIFE. Make it so no bleeding heart cry babies can't get them out in 50 years or whatever.

I'd say give them a choice, life in prison or the death penalty. But it is hard life also. No TV, no privileges at all! I personally would torture them to death for the suffering they have caused and will keep causing their victims. I would drag out the torture for weeks or years if possible. The poor kids will suffer a lifetime.

Does that sound fair?

The one sick freak made a video of him raping a THREE YEAR OLD GIRL!!!

I say we should burn the flesh from him an inch at a time and let it heal while we work on a different area. Hell is too good for the like of him.

I think the death penalty or life in prison is to easy. we need to invent and thenexact the same type of torture pysychologically these victims and their families go through 4 ever. The memories and pain may dissipate but it never dies.

i don't think death is going to do much about it. Take the london Bombings 7/7 for example ... those bombers were PREPARED to die....
ok its like a completely different thing, but when the offender is prepared to die then death penalty isn't like going to be "OMG please spare me, i don't wanna die"

Choice, they shouldn't have a choice. It should be like a surveyed choice. So others decide. The family (of the child/adult offended) can be more fulfilled that justice has been brought to them.

Torture, some people, mad people i'd say, would be tortured to death and still carry a smile (a wicked sick horrible smile) till their last breath! -- That doesn't work

Life sentecne.... well that just isn;'t good... it clogs up the jails.

Overall all of them never work. Life sentence is just like "Ok, you are going to go to jail and work for the rest of ur life" -- the offender would think "Fine, you feed and clothe me... who cares!" Death is just wrong. It doesnt put a stop to anything. Its typical murder for someone whom has done wrong. (What if u sentenced a wrong person!) Torture is murder, but slow.... thats just not the way to tell people not to do wrong

I think we should start from young. BETTER educations. Let the future generation be educated so that they have the brains to understnad that so and so or whatever is going on around them is wrong. IT is they who will form the future world, be the good and the bad, but lets keep the bad to the min. by educating all the young.
OR
more education for parents... in how to deal with their chidlren and beware of hte internet. Parents also sometimes have responsibility for their child's actions

In a free society we the people have choices about what we want as far as our laws/punishment/rehabilitation is concern.

We have opted to view pedophilia as a dysfunction as well as a criminal act. We have also opted to afford the violator, depending upon the gravity of the crime, the same rights to probation, prison or execution as we have with other heinous criminals.

Punishment beyond what we as a society have agreed upon is under our Constitution consider cruel and unusual and must not be considered or the case will be reversed.

If we as a society want to make pedophilia a federal crime punishable with what ever punishment we so desire then I would suggest we start with our elected congressional representative to get the ball rolling rather than ranting and raving in this or similar forums.

They should be separated from society from the rest of their lives. If there are put in general population in prison, other inmates usually carry out a death penalty. I do not support this, I am merely stating what I know to be true. There is no cure for pedophilia that I know of.

Voters need to find out Who is accepting donations from organizations like Nambla and their members and Stop harrassing smokers, and people on cell phones!

Death penalty is the only cure for pedophilia that has a 0% recidivism rate.

These monsters need to be sent quickly to receive God's judgement.

I think any man, that rapes a young child or any woman, should be Castrated, and sent to prison, for life. Castrating them will stop them, from ever raping anyone ever again.

If the crime is minor (i.e, copping a feel, observing someone bathing, etc.), then reform them or imprison them, failing that.

If the crime is serious (i.e., rape, brutality, etc...), then imprison them, or execution failing that.

Remember, most of these folks were molested themselves, so it is a case of the victim becoming the victimizer. Whatever the case, the punishment MUST fit the crime. Blanket mandatory sentences detract from this; let a judge and jury decide each individual case.

Well, first you get a telephone pole, and then you sharpen the end of it, and after that it is kinda like putting a worm on a hook.

Lock them in a room with the parents and family of the abused child. Problem solved. Other than of course, cleaning up the room afterwards.
