Hi.
I heard that you can watch people having a death penalty if you are related to the person who was killed, Is this true??

I'm asked because I wasn't sure about this.I heard this when I was small.

Generally, you can witness an execution by invitation. Certain family members of the victim are invited to witness.

I think you mean an execution. If you are related to the victim of the person about to be executed, or if you are related to the person who will be executed, you can ask the warden of the prison where the execution will take place, and each prison has a different kind of process for allowing witnesses. Many also have witnesses from the press or clergy present at the executions.

It is an EXECUTION, not a Death Penalty and yes some family does get invited to be the witnesses IF they so choose. They don't have to go though.

There are witnesses to executions. Some come from the crime victim's family, some from the criminal's family/legal team and some from the media. The criteria of acceptance will vary based on jurisdiction.

Watch it?

IF the proper burden of guilt is established, I am fully capable of throwing the switch, pulling the trigger, dropping the trap door, etc!!

Yes, relatives of the victim are invited to the execution.

I think they should be televised as a warning.
