I signed a Direct Debit payment to s company, where I did give them all information collect. The family name was correct, but the first name I did write down both the two words, I just wrote one only. Moreover, The Signture wasn't the same one I gave to my bank and on my passport. However they got my bank account number, and my brithday was correct.
In this case, will the money still be transfered to them? I don't really want to give them. This agreement is still lawful or not? Do I still have to pay them money by law?

I could really insult every other country out there, but because I am not a rude, obnoxious person, I don't. It seems that American people are so good to the poor countries, the countries that have natural disasters, are being taken over by other countries, have evil dictators, etc. Yet it seems that no one appreciates the money, time , effort and care that we give them. They treat us poorly and It makes me wish that we would stop doing anything for any other country.

im studying to be a lawyer...so i know that murder is a crime of much higher degree...but when you look at it from the victim's point of view....is rape more traumatic or is it muder..?

i go for rape...cause the victim has to continue suffering the sh!t that happened to her even after its over...

why does something like rape take place even though there are so many people to stand up and say they are against it??

Working in a grocery store, me and my coworker got into a debate. When a group comes in together and one of them wants to buy single bottle or can of beer. Is it legal for me to only check his ID and sell it to him or her without checking the rest of the group? What if instead of a group, two walks in?

Its a guardianship of the estate case. I am supposed to file an accounting before my hearing but I am not sure how to do that. I am going to have to get an attorney to assist me.
Can I go to the hearing and ask the judge for an extension?
What are my chances of him saying NO?

read the whole question before answering please.

Whenever Liberals cant argue on their position they will SOMETIMES say the opposition is injecting their religion. Whats wrong with that? freedome of religion is the foundation of this country. Also, If laws cant be faith based then are you saying a person who has faith cant hold public office. Then it only reasons, that people of faith shouldnt be allowed to vote either. All 3 are linked, so stop with this stupid arguement

You would think that humans are as impervious to death as roaches.

We have trouble electrocuting them, injecting them with poison, hanging, and the firing squad.

Why not just strap them down, and drop a two ton lead weight from a height of 50 feet? Gruesome, but quick.

Or car exhaust?

These people are murderers. Last I heard, they don't give their victims a say in matters.

I'm a young person and with the current state of Social Security I'm justifiably concerned about the chunk of my paycheck going to SS. This may be an unpopular view but I feel that Social Security goes against the capitalistic foundations of our nation, and mainly that every individual should have a choice in their future financial security. All biased views aside I would like to know if there are ways of opting out of or getting around Social Security altogether (besides becoming a pastor/clergy member). I know this may be unorthodox but thank you for any information or help.

Has anyone ever got a e-mail in the mail stating that someone has just died and they can not find the next of fin. So, since they can't find the next of kin they want to give you all the dead persons money to you. It doesn't sound legit to me. In the letter they state that this man died back in 2000, he died with his wife and kids. And since he died they haven't been able to find the next of kin. I was just wondering if anyone has gotten a e-mail like that. And if it's not legit tell me why they would be sending me this e-mail. Because, it didn't say anything about me paying them (yet).

they told me while we were waiting for the ambulance they would contact me to pay the bill- but the next day their office called and they wanted to know if i planned to sue- i said, "they offered to pay the bill, so no" then they told me they don't have insurance to cover it and my insurance would have to cover all his medical bills etc.
i have since wrote a letter to the owner of that restaurant and he did not even have the decency to reply to my NICE letter! they didn't call to check on him or anything! he was only 6 (last year)!
should i sue them and if so how do i do it?
