its possible if you can convince a landlord that you are worth the chance. Although it would probably be a month to month rental as you are not old enough to enter into a lease. Try a landlord who has a small efficiency or garage apartment. It would be easier than a larger apartment complex.

Inless you are emcipated there isn't a way. Also I got an apartment a week after I got turned 18 and since I and since I had no credit history I had to play first and last months rent plus the application fee and deposits which amounted to over a 1000 dollars, most places do require that you have stable employment history or that you've worked at your current place anywhere from a month to a year. Some places in my area also wouldn't rent to you inless you are 21.

Your boyfriends mother has no authorized authority to signal any rent to your behalf. Apartments WILL NOT GIVE rentals to any one who's underage. The boyfriend's mother might additionally face bills out of your mom, for interference with parental authority. You may not be 17 till subsequent yr. That is decades off. Leaving with out consent is going for walks away, and at your age, the police will more often than not carry you again. If there's precise abuse happening..then cps will have to understand approximately it, and situation you in foster care. Emotional abuse is an excessively elaborate subject, and cps will examine to listen to either side. Mom getting mad in case you defy her authority is not precisely abuse, even though such a lot teenagers believe it's. Citizenship has not anything to do with any of this, incidentally.

Good luck, unless you have emancipated yourself from your parents (and when you emancipate yourself from your parents, you are automatically considered an adult, irregardless of your age and they would have to not consider your age), you won't get in that apartment.

I suppose you could lie, etc, but unless the landlord is really sloppy, and you look extremely old for some reason, I say it ain't going to happen.

Trust me though, I was there. I was desperate to move out at that age. There is nothing you can do about it right now. Stay where you are at, but distance yourself as much as possible from whatever is bothering you (parents, people, etc).

Only if your parent will co-sign or another adult is on the lease,or you have been legally emancipated by the Courts. In none of the 50 States can an unemancipated minor enter into a legally binding contract without parental consent or co-signing.

Your probably not. It's hard for anyone under 20 to get an apartment by themselves.

Landlords will not trust you to pay rent on time.
