If your life is scrutinized and looked at microscopically, would it pass a "litmus test"? I think that anyone can take a life and when examined mold the events to answer whatever questions need answered. Drive a different way home from work, make a phone call, pick up some new p.j.'s that are a different material than you used in the past, try a new food;etc. Does meeting an online friend automatically constitute an affair? Does buying a boat mean you killed your wife? Does changing plans at the last minute mean you are guilty of a crime? It amazes me that any nuance in my life not perceived as the norm could actually get me in trouble. Think about it!

I know a man (in California) who has no driver's license and operates his own security business (under the table because he owes child support). He takes the plates off of one car and puts it on another so he has current tags showing. Is this a crime? What would happen if he were caught. I dont think he can have insurance either with no license or registration, right?

Is it true that 2 of the 3 credit reporting agencies are owned by foriegn countries?
Now that a large majority of the prisons are privately owned and are publicly held companies, will punishments now carry longer prison terms? Can shareholders demand that prisons lock up more criminals to increase thier bottom lines?
Considering that foster care agencies are privately owned and government funded, would it be best for these agencies to NOT reunite dislocated kids with parents and family members in order to increase thier bottom lines?
With the new child support collection laws (federal) and considering that privately owned companies now can collect up to 75 cents for every dollar collected for child support, will they drive up the child support awards to custodial parents to increase thier bottom lines?

Tempurpedic has 4 months return policy. I first tried their "Classic" model. It gives comfortable support, but it is just too hot, so I returned it. 3 weeks later I decided to give it another try with their "Delux" model which it claims to be cooler with its dual ventilation layers. During my 2nd order on the phone, the issue of whether I am allowed to return or not was NOT mentioned until I asked for complimentary item. The customer service asked me to waive my right to return if I want the free pillows, so I did. Mattress arrived first, on which after I tried a couple of weeks, I felt back pain due to its too-soft surface. On the same day as I received another shipping package 4 weeks later for the pillow I called Tempurdic for return. They claimed since I waive my right on the phone I was not allowed to return. Please let me know if I can still return the mattress legally.

A daughter with a criminal record and "known" to the police, caring for an elderly relative. Can she legally get power of attourney? Already "let off" an arrest because she's the prime carer. Social services are happy to lallow this situation even though relatives have informed them she is a heavy drinker too.

i am currently a wife of a united states enlisted security forces officer with the air force.
he abandoned me at a hospital four months pregnant, i have not seen him expect for chance meetings in public with his new live in girlfriend.
i have received no financial aid and need to know my rights. i have contacted the first shirt and base commander, nothing has been done. i know my rights and i know i am entitled to the difference between single pay and what he receives claiming us as dependants, but nothing is being done to uphold that.
does anyone know what steps i can take to make sure he provides for our son? he helped to make him after all.
he is using the money we could use on diapers and food to put rims and tires on his SVT focus. this guy is a dirt bag and needs to learn what responsibility is.

should of been hanged for those murders but why wasn't he convicted of what I think would be a much more serious crime which was the posion gas attack on the Iraqi Kurds that killed a few thousand innocent men, women and children? Were they afraid that if they had gone to trail on the posion gas charges that the truth about how Saddam orginally got those posion gases would come up in a trial?

Arizona has a no coockfighting law to prevent the cruelty twards the roosters so how can killing what has been confiscated be any different? this law really p_sses me off! I know so many families that lost everything because of it,generations of families lived on the breeding of good fightingcocks! there is way more to it than throwing two roosters into a pit to fight.by nature roosters will fight and sometimes that fight can take a day or two to end without the blades so by putting blades on its overwith quickly and if the birds don't fight than thats that,no fight! yesturday cops busted a ranch took the 300 or more birds and now what do they do with them? kill them whats the difference?

Kevin Trudeau, author of Natural Cures They Don't Want You to Know About claims in his infomercial that curing cancer without chemotherapy is illegal and a doctor was jailed for doing so. This can not possibly true, can it? And even if it was, who would file the lawsuit? Obviously, not the patient. I know that he's a convicted felon and was in trouble for misleading customers and abusing their credit card information, resulting in a legal ruling that he can not make false claims in his infomercials. So, does this mean his claim about the doctor is not false?
