Arizona has a no coockfighting law to prevent the cruelty twards the roosters so how can killing what has been confiscated be any different? this law really p_sses me off! I know so many families that lost everything because of it,generations of families lived on the breeding of good fightingcocks! there is way more to it than throwing two roosters into a pit to fight.by nature roosters will fight and sometimes that fight can take a day or two to end without the blades so by putting blades on its overwith quickly and if the birds don't fight than thats that,no fight! yesturday cops busted a ranch took the 300 or more birds and now what do they do with them? kill them whats the difference?

Animal cruelty is animal cruelty. We abolished arena gladiator sports a long time ago, but it seemed cruel to take two people and watch them fight to the death. Nowadays, the same applies to dogs and roosters.

Killing them is what they have to do to rid the birds from society. Once an animal has been bred to fight, it is no longer compatible among other roosters. It will automatically fight them, just like they would in a ring. Therefore, they are too feral and dangerous to both people and other roosters.

Detroit Michigan does the same with confiscated pit bulls who have/were/going to fight. They euthanize them, because they are too dangerous to adopt out.

Generations of families losing income to fighting birds? Forgive me if I could care less. A job should be one productive to society, not one that brings in illegal gambling, and most likely, drugs.

The breeders should also be put to death- perhaps by being put in the same cruel situation as the roosters they have been exploiting for generations.

I cannot believe you think it is some how better that they die faster with blades! This is deplorable that people sit and watch this.I don't care how many families it ruined.
