I'm not sure what pleases me more - that Saddam Hussein was executed, or that the false prophet, false teacher, and homosexual offender Ted Haggard was exposed and removed from office (where he can no longer mislead the Church). What do you all think?

OK, I'll react to your answers - clearly the world is better off without Saddam Hussien. But given how brutal the Islam religion can be, there's no guarantee that another man like him will arise.
I am being a bit sarcastic because I live right next to New Life Church, and have had to put up with the wierd and inflamatory stuff coming out of that Church for a while. I always felt Ted was fake, but I could never quite nail him down.
A keyword search on the Internet [Google] (Ted Haggard, False prophecy) reveals some bad stuff on him, and he was pals with all kinds of other off the wall preachers.
Yup, Saddam is a biotch - a butcher. Ted, the subtle heresies he introduced into his Church - you tell me.
I welcome more input!

About life in prisonment verses death penalty. I had a minor infraction of the law and spent a few months in jail resolving the matter. I met one guy who was still a detriment to practically everyone who was in jail there, and he showed no remorse whatsoever for the people he physically hurt (he had a long sentence, and nothing to lose in hurting still more people in jail).
The Old Testament sanctioned the death penalty for people who would have a detremental effect on the rest of the population.
Even people with misdomeanor offenses, or low end felonies who are destined to return to their lives deserve protection from creeps like Saddam Hussein - even if he has to be put to death to stop his terror.
