My Canadian friend uses Limewire to download music, and he says he cannot get in trouble because he is in Canada and there is no law that doesn't say you can't download music illegally. However, even if he downloads American-company music, he still can't get in trouble? We were just wondering what the answer was.

I applied for a Texas concealed handgun license and actually chose to tell the truth and disclose that I take antidepressants. I am not crazy, and I am more mentallly stable than 80 % of the population. However, due to an arcane law that disallows people on meds to have a CHL, I was denied. I hired an attorney who promptly closed shop and ran off with my retainer. I am being denied the right to be able to defend my family because of this. Criminals don't apply for CHL's, and where is the state going to be if me or my family are attacked? Does anybody have any experience with this? How can I legally get my CHL?

Hello.

I'm doing a persuassive speech in my oral communications class and as a more of a shocker-type statement I need help finding electric chair death penalty pictures gone wrong.

The ones like eyes hanging out of the sockets... just terrible things. I know this is weird to ask, but I've tried looking and I can't find any. And i'm also scared of what I do find.

As sick as it may seem, can anybody help me out here? I would greatly appreciate it.

If the US requires there to be a "separation of church and state" and scientology is now a religion, why is the beliefs associated with it allowed to be taught in public schools, but beliefs of other religions is not allowed to be mentioned whatsoever in public school? Is this not favoring one religion over another, thus, in a sense, forcing a religion on a person indirectly?

i mean, it's all about your heart rate and blood pressure, and those are certainly going to go up if you are nervous about a question, not necessarily if you are lying. so couldn't you tell a little white lie and still pass the test?

I am writing a paper on eminent domain and would like to use a story where land was taken without an agreement being reached with the government. The purpose of the paper is to persuade other Americans to contact our senators regarding the upcoming vote about eminent domain. The laws need to change so that land grabbing doesn't continue.

When I initially rented this plaace, the landlord said that heating was electric only, no gas. I paid huge electric bills last winter and have been told by an engineer that the gas boiler needs to be replaced. I am now also informed that it is illegal for the landlord to let out his place fully aware that the gas does not work? Is this true?

O.J Simpson is putting a book out in 2 weeks and also broadcasting an interview which details how he "would" have killed his ex wife and her boyfriend. The publisher of the book is calling the book " His confession to the murders." Does this mean another media frenzy, small gloves, and white truck chases once again? I hope they lock him up for good, the murderer.
