Are you kidding? Those tests are a joke. If you can make yourself believe you're telling the truth, then your body won't change when you say it. Your body might not change anyway.
The polygraph is bs.

Some people can fool a polygraph with a big whopping lie.
But, regarding the little white lie. The mere fact that the subject KNOWS they are fibbing is what causes the changes in a persons physical state that is picked up by the test.
So, a polygraph test, administered by an expert will catch most people telling even a white lie. One part of the test is a series of control questions where the subject is asked to tell a deliberate lie. There should be no pressure on the subject, but the polygraph should pick it up. In fact, if the controls cannot be established, the rest of the test is invalid.
That's why the rock or thumbtack strategy wouldn't work. The operator wouldn't get a good control sample. If the operator couldn't tell a lie from a true statement, the test results can't be determined.

Passing a polygraph is actually easy if you know how to do it. No you can't tell a little white lie. You have to know how to beat the machine. Example... If the question is.., Did you kill so & so?? You say in your mind something like... Did you kill president Kennedy?? The answer NO comes out & you pass. It's all about mind over matter.

Absolutely! I will tell you how to pass and tell nothing but lies!!! Put a very sharp rock in the toe portion of your shoe. When they ask the question, press your toe into the rock very hard and answer the question. The pain makes your body do thigs differently than normal and then you always do the same thing every question. They can't tell whether or not you are lying or telling the truth. And those polygraph places won't acknowledge it to their clients because they look stupid!

Put a thumb tack in your shoe and everytime you are asked a question push the point into your toe.
This will make you have a similar response to every question, lying or not.

Probably, if you worked at it. Polygraphs are said to be about 90% accurate... that last 10% has to be white lies!

My grandmother passed one years ago at her job, & it came up clean... but she was guilty! So like said already, it's only a lie if you BELIEVE it's a lie....
