My husband's mother will not allow him to visit with his younger sister. There is no basis for this judgment - as brother and sister, they have a wonderful relationship. The mother is using the daughter as leverage to get what she wants. Is this legal? How can we fight it?

They are wuick to say "Americans are so childish and war hungry" In a country of almost 300million people it is kind of irrational to put that brand on all those people that you have not met or had a conversation with.

All religious reasons aside, can anyone give me any actual reasons why legalizing gay marriage is such a point of contention? Who does it really hurt? I'm heterosexual and I can not see why it should bother me that someone with a different orientation forms an officially recognised union with the adult of their choice. Again........Not looking for religious doctrine here.

My mother inherited a house from my grandmother a few years ago. She was married at the time, but they divorced. Her ex husband still lived with her. She remarried, but soon after divorced again. Her previous ex husband told her that if she did not sign the house over to someone, that her new husband that she was divorcing could get the house in the divorce. i know that is totally untrue, but she did sign the house over to him. now there is nothing for me and my siblings to inherit from her. is there anything at all that i can do about this?
