Depends on what kind of fighting. With guns &c... I don't know. I think humanity is not ready to give up war yet, but I don't know what I would pick up arms for. Probably to protect my family. But not to attack. But then, I am female...

The everyday kind of fighting, the type we do at work and in society... well, one good way to phrase it is
"I don't want power. I just object to idiots having power over me." (Lois Bujold)

Also, it is worth to fight for your love, actually it is necessary to fight for you love, against the routine of everyday life.

Again, it really depends on what kind of fighting you mean.

my basic civil rights!
1. right to marry
2. right not to be discriminated against
3. right to adopt children

now lets put it in context,
1. right to marry my gay partner , a person whom i love dearly and stuck by me through think and thin. stayed by my side for better or worse and when i was sick and when i was healthy.
2. right not to be discriminated against due to my sexuality with regards to employment opportunities, tax privileges, etc.
3. right to adopt children with my partner if we are financially stable and physically and mentally devoted to each other so as to be able to provide a healthy home (of course its not according to heterosexual's standards but its healthy according to the normal reasonable person if i have omitted the fact that I'm gay) for our future child.

for all those fundamentalists and bigots around, please, for a moment forget that I'm gay and reread the entire passage. you'll realize whatever rights that i;m fighting for is what you all hold dear................

regards

It's really hard to answer this question. After giving it some thought, I'd have to say my little step brother.
