Can you sue doctors if they put someone on life support for like 5days even though. In their Living will (which the doctors do have a copy of) they stated that they do Not want to be on any form of life support and would it be worth someone's while to sue the doctors if the person in question has more physical disabilities and the doctors are talking abt putting that person in a nursing home even though they have a suitable home and it would crush the person emotionally to be in a nursing home (the person is only 42)

A female teacher has sex with a 13-14yr old student, she got what, 3 years house arrest or something.


Watching the news the other day, and a male teacher had sex with a 16 yr old student and got 15 years in the pen.

Why will they not give female teachers/child predators what they deserve, but make no bones about throwing the male teacher to the wolves?

This poor girl was food dead in a trash bag with her wrists tied in wire still clutching a stuffed animal. This man not only abducted her, raped her, bound her in wire, but buried her while still alive. They found a bloody mattress in his house with her DNA on it and the girl buried in the yard and the judge has the gall to throw out his confession because he was not immediately given a lawyer when asked though willing to talk about among other things the murder of this girl. Has the court system gone too far to protect the rights of criminals in expensive of the victims?

bedises the fact that the government will tax the hell out of it--
it seems that alcohol is just as widely abused and causes people to do things they wouldn't normally do. although, I don't believe a person should drive under the influence of ANY drug, you never hear of people being killed by stoned drivers. Or people causing fights because they were stoned. Any groups like MA (marijuana anonymous)?? What is the crime/accident rate in Amsterdam? I wonder if the government ever looked at Amsterdam at all.

Particularly when the first 3 directly contradict the First Amendment principals of freedom of religion and freedom of speech?
1-3 contradict Freedom of Religion
Also, adultery is not a crime in the USA (regardles of it's moral standing)

I'm sure there are more contrasts between the TC and US law that I'm not thinking of. So why do people claim the US law is based on the TC?

I had a property settlement drawn up in my divorce that stated that I would not persue alimony in my divorce if my exhusband took full financial responsibility for a 2002 mitsubishi eclipse loan. Well after the divorce he had the car repossed because he didnt pay the loan and then filed bankruptcy. The loan company then came after me for the monies owed so I had to file bankruptcy. Anyway my question is, since he didnt take financial responsibility on the car like agreed in our property settlement, do I have any claim to file for alimony or damages?

I was driving in a pack of cars going with the flow of traffic and I saw flashing lights behind me, the woman in the car next to me refused to let me pull to the right. However police car was stopping me. He ticketed me for going 56 in a 35. The area does have several speed zones and this particular one goes from a 55 to a 35 I had just entered the 35 when I was clocked. What bothers me though is that out of all the cars I was the only one in the group to be targeted and was not by any means in the front or the rear of this group I was however the only one who had out of state license plates. Upon reading their rules of the road book today I found out that had he said I was going 55 I would have still had to go to court but would have been fined and gotten to retain my driving privliges. However since he said I was going one mile an hour over 55 I will lose my driving priviliges for 3 months. Should and how do i fight this?

If you have about 10 minutes of your life to waste then please read my blog & accompanying comments then, tell me if I'm breaking the law. It may be entertaining if nothing else, then again it may not be. I don't believe I have broken any laws, but just to be sure, I've emailed the Y! copyright dept. but haven't heard back. If I'm not breaking the law, am I breaking Y! standards? Thanks

Where i work they are telling me that we are only allowed a 5 min break per work shift and that is anywhere from 4 hours to 9 hours a day. Is there truth to this or are they wanting to save money by working us without breaks?
