Well according to the law he doesnt but to me he should because the child is just as much his as it is hers and if she doesnt want the child that is her business but she should give the babies father a chance to be a father if he wants to.

Unfair perhaps, but no. However, when the situation is reversed and the woman insists on having a baby the man does not want, he's stuck footing the bill for the next 18-21 years.
Very unfair.
Don't jump too quickly into having children. It's a lot of hard work, and a long term commitment. The experience may not be everything you hope. Plus, kids are EXPENSIVE. Are you sure you don't want to have a bigger home or a nice Porshe instead?
If you have any desire to see the world, to travel to places like Italy, Fiji, the Seyshelle Islands, Egypt, New Zealand, South America, etc. you should reconsider a rush into fatherhood.

Personally, I think the woman has a responsibility to tell the man she (a) got pregnant, and (2) is having an abortion.
I do not however, think any man has any right to decide if she should carry her pregnancy to term, or not. Sorry - but it is nor your body - you do not have to host an organism, go through potentially devestation (sometimes fatal) physical and mental changes, or go through labor, or likely, pay for all the pre-natal requirements.
I would support a man having a choice if and only if it is one day possible to remove the growing cells from a woman's body, with no consequence, as soon as known (day, week, month) into a man's body - and have him carry it to term. But well, that's not possible.
A man's body does not go through pregnancy - don't be mad at the woman, be mad at God for such a mechanism of renewing life. That's the way your God chose it to be - live with it.
Giving your sperm meant you made a decision for the consequence of conception - but also, the consequence of what a woman does with HER body.
You have a choice - it's called a vasectemy, or adoption if you want children.

The father can not force a woman to carry a baby to term if she doesn't want to.
Because of biology, this is the one choice that a woman has that a man does not. They can both choose to have sex and what kind of birth control to use. If she gets pregnant, because she is the one carrying the baby, she gets to choose if she wants an abortion. If men could carry the babies, we'd get a shot at that choice.
As it is, I'm not in any hurry to trade.

I belive that the man should have a bigger voice when it comes to situations like this. Go to someone that can give you better legal advice. But also, I think that if a women does not want her child and the man wants her to have it, then he should keep the baby after it is born. So think about what would be best for both of your situations and if either of you have the means, the ability and the time to take care of a child, then please don't be selfish. You both made a mistake, but a beautiful one. Good Luck

Abortion is a medical rights issue. Since it does not medically involve your body, you have no rights nor need them.
Complain to mother nature. She's the one that made your only input to birth of another actual human being the deposit of your sperm.

No, the father has NO rights. In this country, only grown (or teenage) women have rights; fathers don't and infants don't (even the female ones). I STRONGLY disagree with it.

In this case, no. As it is the mother's body, and since she will have to have the procedure done, it's her decision. The father has essentially no rights in this instance.

While the child is inside the mother. The father has no rights. It's her body, and she'll choose to do whatever she wants. All he can do is beg her not to do it, and offer to take over all parenting responsibility.
