interigated" detainees at Guantanamo Cuba?

Does their life end there without any judicial proceedings?

Some of them were just at "the wrong place, at the wrong time", and accused by someone just wanting to get "reward money" that we offered for Taliban suspects.

Does this not become a "black mark" on America's' code of honor as seen from other countries of the world?

And is this not why, (partially at least), why Islam is so angry with such US policy of detaining forevever those who haven't had a fair trial?

Please answer only if you are pretty certain. I can guess without help.

A local chain grocer (one store only) will not accept California Advantage EBT card if the card has become demagnitized, unless the customer has ID proving that they are the person named on the card. The Food Stamp program allows for designated representatives (and has a procedure for legally designating them) to use an individual's EBT card for disabled or other recipients.

While I intend to boycott the store and encourage many, many others to do the same, and begin a letter-writing campaign to both the owner and the chain, I do wonder if it's even legal. Since this store is in a neighborhood which has a high number of food stamp recipients without the wherewithall to shop elsewhere, I am sure that my neighbor is not the only one who had to depend on others' kindness for food for 2 weeks while her card was being replaced.

If you can't tell me, can you help me figure out where to find the information?

My friends ex-husband is not disable and he is on SSI. He said to me that, that was the only way he can escape paying for child support. He now has other childrens. But he has a 8 years old boy that recieves no child support due to the fact that the father is on SSI. Its sad to see my friend struggle with her son. paying for baby sitters and having to work two jobs just so they can have enough money to pay for their apartment. And then sad that the father had to be on SSI Disability only so he would not get to pay support for their son. I have to help her with this months rent and i feel so bad for their son. I know that what the father did is wrong. But does anyone know what she should do?? How can she get child support? What evidence do she need. We both know that its a fraud but how do we get him for it???? Isnt there a law?

I have a rather difficult question that I really need help with.

I have 3 children that I am obligated to pay support for. I am between jobs, getting ready to start another one. I had been doing fine paying support consistently for 7 months or better. I am behind on all of them due to a bout with the law that put me in jail for a year (unrelated).

I live in Indiana, only one child lives in the same state as me. One lives in Ohio and another in Missouri. I have met my son in Ohio once, never met my daughter, only have pictures. My son's mom got married while pregnant and has been with him ever since (almost 9 years). Daughter in Missouri's mom had been married, divorced and since re-engaged.

I feel that it is important to help care for your kids. However, it is also important to SEE them too. I probably never will due to lack of vehicle...should I terminate my rights, pay the arrearage since I will never have a life with them? What rights do I have to avoid jail?

David had a history of frequent admission to various types of mental institutions. David was not considered dangerous and, in fact, would have long intervals of lucidity between recurring mental problems. During a lucid interval, David entered into a contract to purchase a new Mustang convertible. Later, David wanted to avoid the contract on the grounds of incompetence.
Can he do so?

I need a Lawyer that will take my case and treat as if it was their car, their job, their 4 month old baby that got the window mashed in on her in the back seat, Someone that will call me by my name rather than my case number. Since this last lawyer i've lost trust in lawyers (i waited 2 months havent even recieved damages for my totaled car and only to find that they dropped my case)The only way i will hire another one is if i can find a good one. KNnow any good lawyers that all say they are good so how will i know they are good? I dont want to go thru this stuff again!!!!!!!!

I would like to have a will written so that I am no longer an intestate. The thing is, I have to pay for it and if I can avoid paying, I would really like that. So, is there any way of having a will written without having to pay or get it written cheaply?

thanx

It is from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson written to a group of baptists worried that the government would prevent them from practicing their religion several years after the first amendment was adopted.

This is an expression of Jefferson's personal opinion. Jefferson did not take part in the forming of the constitution or the bill of rights as he was out of the country at that time.

The phrase was first used when Supreme court justices explained their ruling that students attending a catholic school could not be excluded from a publiclly funded busing system that transported students to local private schools.

Ironically, the phrase has repeatedly been used to justify excluding religious practice from the public arena in the last 30 years.
