I need to get my fingerprints taken the old-fashioned way (with an ink pad) for a passport application but it seems that the police no longer do the ink fingerprints. Anyone know where I can get this taken in London?

So, I have succumbed to the liberal way of thinking. I understand their point of view and I think now is the time do act upon it.

All of my life I have worked hard. I have done the things needed to get me through life without any aid from the government or handouts from my fellow Americans. But, I have seen how those that are pro-illegal (er..pro-amnesty) want to hand tax payer dollars out to those here illegally and I think, as an American, I should take advantage of this opportunity as well.

I mean, my husband and I both work full time and I go to school full time. We pay our own health care, our own daycare during the summer, I pay for my tuition out of my pocket ($15,000.00 a year) and I also pay for my son's tuition for private school (that's another $4000.00 a year). I have served my country, 6 years active duty Navy and I am tired. I am tired of paying taxes to support those that are illegally in this country, or those that will not help themselves.

So, here it goes.

My husband and I are getting a divorce. No need for that pesky marriage getting in the way of our entitlements from the government.

I am quitting my job. Why work when I can get things handed to me from the government.

I am applying for HUD so that my rent will only be $50.00 a month. I have seen the places that take HUD and Section 8…not shabby….some are actually nicer than where we are living now.

I am going to get government medical, well since I am not working, I won't have insurance....and you KNOW that it is the taxpayers responsibility to insure my kid (even though you didn't have him)

I am going to get food stamps…got to feed that kid that I can't afford.

And to top it off…now since I am on welfare….MY SCHOOL IS FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woooo hoooooo

Talk about a deal.

So thanks all of you bleeding hearts…you have helped me see that light. I now realize that personal responsibility is WAY over rated and something that I can do without.

I mean, if the illegals and their anchor babies are getting all this…why can't I?

But, of course, my husband is still going to live with me, so we will still have his income on top of what we are getting from the government. We just don't want that "marriage" thingy getting in the way of all our freebies.

Gubment cheese….yummy.

Hello all! I have posted some questions and I am very thankful to all you generous souls for taking time out there to answer these for me. I am an Indian citizen (residing in the US) and I will be traveling from Vancouver to Montreal in Canada. I have my Indian passport with me; but the Vancouver US Consulate may want to keep my passport for additional days. In that event, can I fly from Vancouver to Montreal using a US Driver's Licence?

How can it possibly help our economy as a nation to have illegal workers here taking jobs from Americans? I have seen this topic several times today, and I had to read the moronic comments by some people that actually believe illegal workers are a good thing. These criminals (illegal immigrants) sneak across a national border, and then they get jobs from people/companies for less than the going rate. The criminals (illegal immigrants) have no taxes, social security, or medicare taxes with held from their checks (in many cases they are actually paid cash). The criminals have no seocial security numbers or tax payer ID numbers (TIN), so paying any form of tax beyond a sales tax is not going to happen. These criminals then are able to draw food stamps and other forms of welfare such as WIC, and they also get medicaid to pay for their families in many cases. The jobs they take used to be done by Americans, but Americans must be paid min. wage. These companies just want to cut overhead!

And why would amnesty be a good or bad alternative?

I personally think that anyone who says it is, is steryotyping that their are no legal American citizens who are blue collar workers. I personally think that legal blue collar workers won't see a pay raise for years because of all these new illegal immigrants offering to work for half the price. Anyone who knows something about economy can tell you that when theirs a surplus in anything the price goes down. As for a solution to this problem I believe that nothing will happen for a very long time because the owners of the factories that employ illegal workers will just keep on lobying goverment offcials so that nothing will be done so they can keep their cheap source of labor. What's your opinion?

I'm working to teach English and Western Culture to Chinese students who want to go abroad.

One woman asked me what it was like for Chinese immigrants in Australia.

She teaches Chinese and wanted to know what the job prospects were for her, and if Australia would be a good place to raise her child (with the school system etc.).

I've researched online but was wondering if there's anyone who could offer an insiders perspective to what it's like. The pros and cons so I can help her become better informed.

P.S. I've also had some students ask about job prospects in the U.K. for Chinese immigrants interested in Economics and Business. So any opinions about that would be useful as well.

Hey People, Ive Applied and got Admission In an University In UK. Now the problem is that, i got Lots and lots Of cash In US dollars $$$$$ (lke even more), But the University ask for it in Pounds.

Airport Customs Allow me to Take $2500 outside my Country, The rest I'll Have to Change It into Local Currency (Indian Rupees) and then Wire Transfer it Into the Bank Account of the University, During this Wire Transfer, the Local currency Gets Changed into Pounds. So In other Words, In loosing Out twice because of Changing Currency. Gosh I dont want to do this, cauz the Losses will be big.

SOOOO I want some one to tell me he to Handle this situation, Is there any other way I can take US dollars Out of India and change into Pounds in the UK. Can I smuggle it ? hehehe :D Help !

I myself, am an immigrant, I came from Colombia; however, I am a legal citizen, but my family had to pay over 30,000 thousand dollars to do so. Now, keep in mind that many of the people who come into this counrty are not coming for a vacation, but an opportunity to live, even to survive. I believe that if an illegal immigrant is to become citizen, he or she should be in the country for a certain amount of time, without having commited any crimes, like reobbing banks and that stuff, keep and opne mind, and THINK BEFORE YOU WRITE!!!

If illegals follow the US laws and return to their country, should
the US government overlook that they have destroyed someone else's Id by stealing it or that they have not paid into our tax system that they have been using? Should they be allowed to apply for citizenshiip after they pay back what was stolen by returning to their own country and paying back what they owe, including the fees to straighten out the stolen Ids that they used?

I know this question has probably already been asked but I would really like some serious answers on this subject. I recently had to cancel all my credit cards and everything because there was suspicious activity on my accounts and even though I don't know for sure yet that it was done by an illegal I have good reasons to suspect that it was. What a hassle all of this is. I get so frustrated with them getting everything for free and not speaking english and then we have to pay for it all through the taxes. Please don't blame G.W. this problem has been ongoing for way longer than that.

OK the war may be someone's piggy bank...wrong.
It may be necessary...just not being fought by US right. The answer is not stay the course nor is it tuck tail and run.

I hear that other countries buying up alot of our real estate.

Illegal Immigrants want the right to "privately" dislike our country and have more rights/perks than the rest of us.

The corporate swine in this country is busy with selling US out.

About Voting: Some corrupt officials out and some more corrupt officials in.

1) Why don't we the American People get together and decide together the directions we want this country to take.

2) Why don't we start firing Politicks who don't do their jobs right within a specified time period?

3) Why don't we all go on a TOTAL STRIKE when we are not happy with the results?
