We should limit the number of persons coming into our country illegally. Nationality does not matter.

This country was founded on immigration from other lands. We gain our strength through the cultural diversity we have.

That being said, you can not start legal status in this country by doing an illegal thing. Mexican, or any other nationality.

You know its statements like these that really don't advance your cause. I am a conservative, second generation, Mexican American woman. I am getting really tired of all the bashing and generalizing about Mexican people. Why don't you get a clue and step outside your own small world. The pride Mexicans take is in their culture, and whats wrong with that? If you were American Italian wouldn't you be proud too? Somehow that is OK. What is the point of your question anyway? That comes to show how little you know about your own country. If you do that, you would dramatically impact American economy in the south of the border.

Right now San Antonio is looking for ways to increase Mexicans presence in their city, and the mayor of McAllen himself is opposing the construction of the wall. Cities like San Diego, Tucson, El Paso, Eagle Pass, Laredo and Brownsville would fall in an economic impass.

Also, do you think that Mexicans that come to the USA only come as illegal immigrants? Ask in Orlando and Las Vegas how dependent of Mexican tourists. Each year, thousands of Mexicans travel to NYC and Miami to do their shopping. Also, thousands of Mexicans use American Airlines, Continental and Delta to fly to Europe and Canada. Such limitations would have a huge impact in such airlines.

I think it would have a better effect to have find ways to diminish drug consumption and promotion in the USA, also to dramatically increase weapons control, specially from schools and high school, or reduce religious and race bigotry within the country.

In other words, there are more important matters to attend than to allow politicians use the Mexicans labor as political excuse to gain voters for their elections.

Your question is very bias. Do you mean to say hispanics in general which would include Mexicans, and those from other South American countries. It is already very hard on Mexicans to enter legally, why short side your debate decrease the number even more for the people from Mexico? It should be equal, there should be no favoritism, or racism what ever you would like to call it. No one country is more deserving than the other.

Well, if you consider all of the Mexicans coming here illegally...they have far exceeded their quota. I'm not sure where I read it, but some government officials are contemplating slowing down legal immigration from Mexico. Sad...because it really is a slap in the face to those who actually have integrity. But something has to be done to stop the influx, right?

Are you focusing on Mexicans because they are the only ones making a spectacle of themselves?
Do you worry more about the Mexicans because they want to be noticed, they march for rights they don't deserve, curse Americans, burn our flag, and are the only illegals who publicly show their contempt for American laws?
Citizens who have ethnic roots in Mexico are fine, legal immigrants who come from Mexico are fine. But they are only fine if they do not support the illegal Mexicans, any dream of Aztlan, do not belong to any of the Mexican Race groups as La Raza, or MEChA.
We only need to limit anyone who hates America and is actively working against us, unfortunately, many of those are Mexican.

We already limit the amount of all immigrants, but as far as Mexican nationals go, I think we should limit the amount to say..something like double the amount we allow in now.

Not sure but I think you meant to say Latin Americans, if not, it's for sure you need some additional information before you ask another question on immigration.

There is a limit to legal immigration from Mexico. But since they don't need no stinkin laws they just come illegally.
