Hi i really need help
so my mom and i want to move to california next year and we need a green card so i was wondering if anyone knows how to get it.
We were born in Europe but were now Canadian citizens living in Canada.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Have to apply throught the USCIS. The fees have just gone up for thatAs of today to apply for a green card will cost $1010.00 per application. So for your mom it would be $1010 and for you it would be an additional $900.00.
Once you receive an approval from the US Dept of Justice, then you can apply for a "green card' which is to adjust your status and give you the rights of a permanent resident such as the ability to work etc.

You want uscis.gov and thequeenreigns is correct. So are others. You might get a student visa and she might get an employment visa, or whatever. We don't know enough about your circumstances. If you don't need to work, Canadians can apply to come for a year, (6 months you don't need to apply for) but then it is over.
The work visas mostly open in April and timing is key.

Everyone wants one, but it's hard to get if you don't have a family member or employer sponsoring you. So you will one first. Or try your luck on the visa lottery most European countries are eligible.

Why are you moving to California? Matrimony? To accept a job? Retirement? Studies? To join family?

Contact the US Embassy in Canada. They will be able to tell you what options you have for immigrating to US.
