Their motto is “Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada” (For the race/people, everything. Outside of the race/people, nothing.) It sounds pretty racist to me.

They are the most blatantly racist group operating in America. I shudder to think of all the reports I've read about the Aztlan myth, and how La Raza is so racist that they only accept Hispanics of a certain shade of color, reported by a Latino in an answer on this site. I'm disgusted that our government allows this type of propaganda to be pandered about in our nation. They are no better than the KKK or the Black panthers of the past. Unification is needed to be a prosperous, peaceful nation. But illegals are not entitled to unify with Americans as they're clearly not Americans nor do they intend to be, and never shall we let them be. We can't have a group of people in our nation that is bent on our destruction. I believe they are terrorists. Secure our borders and deport all illegal aliens now!

I keep in mind Eddie Guerrero the wrestler could constantly have a song and it might open up with "VIVA l. a. RAZA" and it may proceed to declare, "I lie, I cheat, I thieve" something something mamacita. yet sure it extremely is racist, they're asserting stay THE RACE, or long stay THE RACE (viva skill stay)!! of course the Mexican's who're technically white and Amerindian, some finished white, some mixed, some nevertheless finished Amerindian like the Mayans. besides, Mexico is a socialist united states of america, they unfold their l. a. RAZA crap interior the united states of a for all time. that's humorous that white human beings are racist with the KKK that's actual, yet Black Panthers and l. a. Raza are not deemed racist lol.

Of course La Raza is racist. They hate all whites and blacks and want to take back California, New Mexico, and Arizona. Only Mexicans should be living in those states. The rate they are going in California, they may get it done. I know 6 families that have moved from Southern California because it is overrun with Mexicans. The schools are so bad they don't want to send their kids there. The crime is unbelievable. Yes, La Raza is racist.

Well I'm not very informed about this movement so I will have to look into it.
La Raza (Mexican Spanish IPA: [la ˈrasa]; Castillian Spanish IPA: [la ˈraθa]) is a Spanish-language phrase which, while literally translated as "the race", is more often used as a synonym of "el pueblo" or "la gente", both of which mean "the people". It is used to denote the people of Latin America who share the cultural and political legacies of Spanish colonialism, including the Spanish language and culture, and their descendants outside of Latin America. This term is mostly used by Mexicans and Mexican-Americans and on occasion Central Americans. Latin peoples in South America and especially the Caribbean seldom use the term.

The term "La Raza" may also encompass a racial significance associated with "mestizaje", or race-mixing (in Mexico not in Spain). In this sense, the term is inclusive of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas, European immigrants, and all the mixtures among them.

sounds racist to me.

When an organization aims to support only one race they endanger themselves to become a racist organization.
Their name also indicates a racist agenda. I was told it means the race. Which I interpret that the other "race" is inferior. If you look at their reply to accusation of racism.

They acknowledge that some Mecha members are Racist and their founding document is racist, but they continue to support them, because it continues to help Hispanics. The problem is that since the founding documents contain racist statement, they have a duty to either discontinue or at the minimum force Mecha to change. Their excuse is that they continue to support them because they do help Hispanics, which is the purpose of La Raza. Let's put it this way, Nazi's helped Germany recover from the depression and world war 2. It does not make it right to support the Nazi if we knew their position about Jews. If they knew Mecha has some problems, they should distance themselves rather than make excuses for them. They should find alternative organization or use their support for direct assistants rather than outsource to Mecha.
