Call the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement hot line and report her for marriage fraud. Have as much information possible (ID numbers, receipt numbers, full name, date of entry, etc.)

Sorry to hear of your troubles...been there myself. Call ICE. Then, if it was you that petitioned for the immigrant visa, contact the embassy/consualte that you had your interview, and you can try and stop her immigration process via a back door there. Also, contact USCIS to have a letter put into her file, don't think that just by contacting ICE that it will automatically go into her immigration file. It might, it might not. Be THOROUGH and nail her ***. Trust me, I know.

Also, when you do call ICE, keep a record of everything. Incase you need to call again, have all this information handy, because you will want to make sure they find the right file again the second time.

When you contact them, understand this: They cannot and will not tell you ANYTHING about her status, whereabouts, etc. They will only take information, so don't get frustrated with this. If you want to, you can also go to the closest DHS/ICE office and talk to an agent, or USCIS investigator. Take everything you have on her with you, including any photos, emails, etc. Also, this may seem obvious, but I am going to say it anyway. DO NOT LIE TO THEM. Lying to a federal agent will land you in jail fast.

I would contact them as soon as possible, because if she di disappear and you are the petitioner, you are on the hook financially for her for 10 years, or until she leaves the country, etc. Also, if she were to go to the police and claim anything...it would put a SERIOUS crimp in your story. document everything you can. If she does go to the police and claim something, and you are honestly innocent, and have to go to court for ANYTHING...get transcripts of everything, proof of everything, etc. She will screw up, I guarantee it, and she's get nailed.

Depends on the type of visa. If it was a Spouse visa, the woman cannot work legally. To work takes a Green Card and a Social Security number. I would call or write a letter to the Department of Homeland Security (formerly the INS). A false relationship will require that she is deported. I would also make sure the divorce papers are signed.

Call Immigration. They should check on her whereabouts and her reason for leaving. If she only married to get residency, they will probably deport her. Be aware though if they feel she was lured into an international marriage under false pretenses, (for prostitution, slave labor, etc.) that they might come after you too.

Only penalty is gonna be if the husband tracks that ***** down and tells her what's up.

In reality, it's the husband's fault for being a moron and marrying someone outside the US. They all want their citizenship, so of course they're gonna take off after they get it. duuuuuuuuuuuuuh.

The marriage can be unilaterally annulled by the husband as fraudulent on her part.

He can petition the court, and given today's political climate, he'd probably get it.

it was to my understanding that a woman (in this case) had to remain married for two years before they could file the I-130 form (petition for alien relative)

Nothing. Since you're married you probably owe her child support and alimony payments now, that's how things work in America.
