Immigration - March 2007

A friend of mine went to the Airport and was shocked by a question from the Immigration officer regarding a missing page in the passport. He was travelling to the United States with a Valid B1/B2 Visa. Though the Visa page is safe, the immigration officer refused to approve since a page was missing.
Now, what should be the next step ? Does he need to get a new passport and go for US Consulate again to get a new Visa ? Or, a new passport with the Visa in the existing passport would suffice ?

Since the travel is of high priority, Any quick answers is highly appreciated.

Hundreds of less priviledge non english people are living in the most appaling condition in our country because our goverment have not thought it wise to give them there freedom......the right to work.....as a british italian I think the goverment should celebrate this period by setting all immigrants free through an Amnesty ......that would give them the right to live and work here and travel to visit there relations back home..........this to me is worthy of celebration

I'm U.S Permanent Resident living in United States (North Carolina) I've been here for 16 yrs. I'm orginially from Pakistan. Do I need a (pakistani) passport made or a visa (from pakistan) to travel to Puerto Rico? I know rules and regulations have changed in January, but I want to make sure if I need a passport to come back to North Carolina? I want to stay in San Juan or surrounding cities for 2 weeks for vacation. I need serious legit answers cuz i dont wanna get stuck there.

I have been looking for a while at doing some travelling and hopefully improving my CV whilst doing so. I would like to work in the US and wondered what fields of work Internships are offered in. I am an ICT technician with nearly 4 years of exprience. (21 years old) But I do not have a degree I have two level 3 IT qualification (NVQ level 3 ICT practioner and Advanced Diploma for IT Practitioners
Systems Support) Do you think I have the good enough qualifications for employment in the US? Would it be possible to get an internship in my field of work? Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

My Mom and Dad (age 58 & 63) applied for new passport and got them issued on 15.01.2007. The new passport has all the pages blank apart from the first and the last page which has a basic and mandatory information. They would be travelling to Middle East on Visit Visa in 10 days. Do they needt to have the ECNR Stamp??

The Islamic wacko's who want to force their religion, law and language down the throats of the local population are exactly the same as the British army and establishment. I am a U.S. citizen currently waiting for my skilled workers immigration visa to be processed to Australia. I have family over there and would like to visit for about 2 weeks on holiday in April. Is it possible to still get an ETA and visit while being processed by the immigration dept. durting this time? I have no caseworker just yet to ask questions about this.

All any illgegal alien has to do is to max out all thier credit cards at western union, then go back to wherever they are from and colect the money there, they can't be traced fo the huge debt becuase they don't exist in our country on paper, do you know how many illegals will do thiS, Millions of them will,, can someone explain to me why any bank would do this

My daughter is married to an illegal from Mexico and they have a 3 yr old. He has not seen my granddaughter for 21/2 yrs. Now he thinks that he can come in and just take her away. My daughter can not afford a divorce and where we live they are not lawyers willing to work pro bono please help us we are afraid that he will get her and take off to Mexico.
