I hear people say slavery was legal in africa but what they fail to say is that never were they treated as property to be destroyed for Insurance claim, never were the slaves in africa treated as subhuman....the europeans want africans to forget slavery , but how can they, when everyday they live with the legacy, the whole of the westindians is a reminder of the trade, they way black people are percieved is a result of the legacy of slavery, how can they ever forget.

The "WE" word is used so much when it comes to former wars. We kicked butts, we did this, we won that. But now that the nation is in need, I do not see any WE going forward to enlist. Prisons have become the favority recruiting place to help this nation win a war in IRAQ. SHAME ON YOU GRINGOS!!!!

Undocumented peoples come from all countries and not only Mexico. I am a proud Undocumented person doing a service to this country and yes, with benefits to myself and family. I am happy to say that I will continue this job until your children graduate from the university to take over my job. But until then, MUCHAS GRACIAS.

What idiot thinks that having a single person from a family go to a spot on the other side of the border for a predetermined clearance to come back has any material difference than not going at all?

That is NOT getting in line behind all the others to be here, that is for sure.

Whatever your view on amnesty, do you see any sense in this at all?

Hello,
I am leaving the country before getting my Citizenship. Currently, I got the 30 months requirement (after the greencard). I am willing to apply for the Citizenship after the end of the 5 year requirement (after the GC). I will be coming to the US before of the end of the 6 month period for a couple of weeks then leave.
I understand that I have to reside in a district for 3 months before I apply for the Citizenship which may not be possible in my case. Is that true?
If so, is there anyway that can help me to overcome this requirement (the 3 month residency before application).
Thanks.

Ok well my friend has been living here for 16 1/2 years (shes now 18), she was born in Mexico. She was flown over to USA and when she arrived her mom got her a card (dunno exactly what it is but it is expired). Is she able to get a SS card? What information does she need to present? Is she able to get a State ID? What information does she need to present for this? Also "besides getting married" what is another way to obtain citizenship or not to be illegal?

The child support police state of New Hampshire attached my son's bank account, because I they thought I was not paying my child support when in fact it was being taken out of my check every week.

Even though I was giving my kid an average of 100.00 extras per week.

I lost my job and then I got screwed by the wonderfull all Amercian System of justice. But during this time I continued to send checks in the mail.

Now I beleive what eveyone else in the world is saying about this defacto police state that yanks kids out of home for porported child abuse and put them into mental wards if they rebel... or drug them up will ritalin which it's main ingredient is methy amphetamine and other mind altering drugs.

According to the DEA, New Hampshire is Ground Zero for the drugging of kids.

The only reason I stayed hre is so that my kid could see me... and have a dad.

What I am finding out is that in the All American Police State, the prime directive is to put dads in jail

Q: Does my child qualify for automatic citizenship under the CCA?
Ans: Under the CCA, your child will automatically acquire U.S. citizenship on the date that all of the following requirements are satisfied:

At least one parent is a U.S. citizen,
The child is under 18 years of age, and
The child is admitted to the United States as an immigrant

I came here on April 18, 2001 and my father was citizen at that time. I satisfy all the qualification Above, but then there is another issue to it.

Q: Is automatic citizenship provided for those who are 18 years of age or older?

Ans: No. Individuals who are 18 years of age or older on February 27, 2001, do not qualify for citizenship under the CCA, even if they meet all other criteria. If they wish to become U.S. citizens, they must apply for naturalization and meet eligibility requirements that currently exist for adult lawful permanent residents.

can someone take a close look at the issue and tell me If I am Citizen yet?
