keep calling congress, the president, and join an organization to fight the illegal immigrant problem. Illegal immigrants are the downfall of this country. If you look at a majority of the problems here, illegal immigration is involved; our healthcare system, prisons, schools, and all kinds of government programs are failing right now and are not able to work because they are supporting people who are here illegally. Ive joined several groups, donated money, and am always talking this issue up and will not stop until I see some kind of improvement! This amnesty plan is a bunch of crap and is not going to work and does nothing to solve the problem. The only way to really fix the problem is to close the borders, enforce the laws, and then deport everyone back and hold people who hire or help illegals out accountable for their actions as well.

I know a few people who are here illegally (no I am not married to one nor am I one myself) They had no intention to do this, but their country is very slow on the uptake or their country is very mean and do not want their citizens to leave their country, even if it does better them to be here. Politically they would be in danger in their own countries and they stay here and work menial (and mostly physical labor) jobs for peanuts that would seem like a lot in their countries (Mexico is not the only country that aliens come from.) They do not "steal" our jobs nor do they clog up our welfare system. No american wants the jobs they do and they can only receive help if they are here legally. Another thing about the jobs is that if we Americans took the jobs, it wouldn't be long before we complained about how little we got paid and how hard the work is. Then when you go to the store and find out that an ear of corn costs upwards $2-$4 each! We can only buy the cheap groceries because they do not complain. They go to work on time every day, even if they are sick. They work ungodly hours when they do and do not complain even then. Would you work 10-16 hours a day for straight pay (farmers are exempt from paying overtime on their own products) 6-7 days a week? Didn't think so. I wouldn't so let them alone.

None, according to naysayers like Barb........
O ye of little faith - we can put men on the moon but we can't put Pedro back in his pueblo???
Seriously, anti-amnesty people must continue verbal opposition to Bush's idiotic plan (GWB must have flunked history because we had an amnesty about 25 years ago and it didn't work). Remember - the squeaky wheel gets the grease! Let's be more vocal than the pro-amnesty people who lack a historic perspective. Compromise is not acceptable on this issue. The politicians who vote in favor of a measure that will cost U.S. workers jobs, should be voted out of theirs! NO RE-ELECTION FOR THOSE WHO FAIL TO PROTECT U.S. WORKERS......................................

There is going to be a big rally toward the end of April (I think it's the 23rd and 24th) in D.C. against amnesty and also in support of releasing former border patrol agents Ramos and Compean. If you are able to go, great - go to www.kfiam640.com and click on the john and ken link, there should be info about it there.
Also, vote for a republican who is against illegals (obviously).

What else do you suggest....
You can't seriously believe that the US can roundup and deport 20 million people, do you?
That is more than the entire population of Sweden and Switzerland.
They can't even find "Americas Most Wanted" or the "FBI 10 Most Wanted"....how do you think they can find 20 million immigrants.
Ridiculous.

I'm not sure what you can do to stop it, but I can think of about a hundred million things you could do with your time that would be more productive. Illegals aren't whats wrong with our country, they are just the current whipping child so to speak.
