Hello,
I am leaving the country before getting my Citizenship. Currently, I got the 30 months requirement (after the greencard). I am willing to apply for the Citizenship after the end of the 5 year requirement (after the GC). I will be coming to the US before of the end of the 6 month period for a couple of weeks then leave.
I understand that I have to reside in a district for 3 months before I apply for the Citizenship which may not be possible in my case. Is that true?
If so, is there anyway that can help me to overcome this requirement (the 3 month residency before application).
Thanks.

I understand the requirements. My question was not regarding the 6 month period. If I come within the 6 month period, I will still have a valid residency status especially if I apply for the re-entry document.
My question is regarding the 3 month before the application. Does the 3 month period indicate "physical residency";i.e do I need to be in states at that time. Does the 3 month period mean "residency" in terms of property or permanant address like apartment lease or house and no physical requirement?
Thanks

My suggestion is to seek advice from a Government Official, or a Attorney. Shame to see your citizenship go to waste. Good Luck !!

In the normal course, no, there is no way you could get a dispensation from that clause of 3 mnths in a dist.! even the six mnths you spend away may not count for the time in USA!
