2000 mexicans against some of the greatest people that ever lived numbering 189, mexican army lost 600 and it only took 13 days for all those mexicans to murder those men. But all it took to kick mexico back across the border was less than 800.
I remember the Alamo and history does repeat its self, the invasion is over.
Now do you remember the battle of San Jacinto where 783 men led by General Sam Houston defeated 1,500 Mexicans.
The battle lasted only eighteen minutes.
When all was over, 630 men of the Mexican army were dead; 730 were prisoners.
Nine Texans lost their lives.
In other words, it wont take to long to get-r-done once we have had enough.
Dont unpack!

No-one remembers the Alamo, at least not with any accuracy.
Could 1%, without research, name or describe the flag that flew over the defenders of the Alamo?

Immigration, legal or otherwise is a separate issue. I'm just fighting for more real history and fewer myths.

Yes. I'm a Texan. I've visited the Alamo several times. I remember it and its story quite clearly--and I *seriously* resent people trying to use it as some kind of anti-immigration icon.

Many of the people who died at the Alamo were Mexicans fighting on the side of Texas against the Mexican army, just like so many American "patriots" were originally British.

Generalissimo Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna won that battle but it cost him huge. It was an over 8-1 kill ratio. 183 defenders killed 1500 Mexicans. The Battle of San Jacinto was far worse for the Mexican Army. In the short battle they suffered over 600 killed to only 9 for the Texans. The result was the Mexican Army leaving Texas. If you want to have another Alamo you are not going to face one state and 183 defenders. You are going to face all 50 states and thousands of defenders. Good luck!!

If I remember history correctly, your General lost two (2) Battles after that to give Texas back to the USA. And besides, a couple dozen men against a large army, did one heck of alot of damage to the spirit of that General. God Bless America !!

You can work at those shitty jobs that we don't want and you can take back the Alamo with all of the bird and dogshit contained inside. Of course, the Texans, who still shoot real guns and ride horses will never let you take it and there will be many dead Mexicans to bury.
