I am an American citizen by birth but my paternal grandparents immigrated here from Mexico and my mother was born in Colombia. She past away when I was 5, and she wasn't a US citizen yet just a resident.
I read somewhere that if you are a citzen from a country that was a former colony of Spain you can become a Spanish citizen, thus an easy way to become a European Citizen.
Now I am not a dual citizen, but I think become a dual Mexican or Colombian citizen? Mexican citizenship may be easier since I am planning to live there anyway for study for 1-2 years.
If I become a dual naturalized Mexican citizen, and then moved to Spain, would I be eligible to then become a Spanish resident and eventually citizen? (I am willing to give up American citizenship for European citizenship)

I will leave the country. I've been here for 19 years, ever since I was 5 years old. My parents came here on a tourist visa to visit my uncle who came here to study for a phd on a student visa. My uncle became a permanent resident and is now a US citizen. My parents however overstayed their visa and made me illegal. I'm a 23 year old Brazilian illegal now. I went to school K-12, got an associate degree. My life is ruined though, what am I supposed to do now scrub toilets? If I go back to Brazil i'll be in even more trouble because i'll have to learn how to write, read in portugeuse plus i'll feel like a foreigner. ..What should I do?

One of my co- supervisors is here on a work visa with a 4 year degree in engineering, he is a supervisor at a factory and the only supervisor there with a college degree. In order to be here on a work visa don't you have to be doing like a certain skill like the one you went to school for. I mean heck oh this guy is doing nothing special and all the rest of the supervisors only have high school diplomas so why is the US allowing him to come over here a do a job that requires no special skill. I am guessing he is on a H1B visa but not sure and he is starting to be a pain.

Who would I anonymously report this to, I am pretty sure they don't hand out H1B 's out for someone to do a job that requires no special skill.

Why do you think that Americans should just allow illegals to be here? Why do you think that they should be allowed to get free healthcare and translation services?

Why do these people have more concern about illegal aliens while turning their backs on America Citizens? The pro amnesty have disgraced and humiliated the poor of this country by insulting them, their kids and families while waving a Mexican flag telling the poor of this country to go to hell. They like to quote the Bible so much only they will not help any Americans they just brush them off calling them lazy and worthless and can careless about Americans going hungry, being sick, being disable. The pro amnesty trash our poor and degrade them, so that a bunch of people from Mexico can have a better life, while they spit on the Americans and curse them out for being poor and hungry saying it's their own fault they are disable and sick.

There is no real answer except their skin color, people get deported why? Because of their skin color. It's as simple as that. It IS a race thing. Racism has many forms and severities.

In this battle of anti/pro I have never wavered. MY heart and soul was for those who have made THIS US a better place and have done so largely unnoticed. When I became vocal I didn't just do it online. I contacted all locals who may have a say as well. That went fine until last week.
A very prominent group leader attacked me for being "too white" and "too visible". He said that "No good immigrant needs ME behind him".
I have some thoughts on that.......well alot actually BUT .........I'd like to hear yours first.

They are in my opinion when they want to make the Loose Change film mainstream. They are anti-American and oblivious to the pain they will cause families who lost loved ones on 9/11.

you came in, masssacred the indians, and stole their land. Now you have the audacity to complain. At least the Mexicans aren't taking land which YOU stole.

(and respond as you wish. A 12-year old girl who is my younger sisters' friend was discussing this very issue in class the other day. We were talking about it today. In a way, she is right.)

To avoid 'lost' passports anyone not holding a UK passport should be digitally photographed along with their passport. If they object to their face being photographed, they do not get aboard. Failed asylum seeker, illegal applicants, can then be returned to their place of origin.
