All very important questions. None of which they addressed at all. Not to mention they seem very intent on abusing any "loophole" so there has to be an air tight proposal. I can't beleive they had a group together to discuss this, and this is the best they could come up with. A proposal so full of glaring problems and loopholes that it literally means nothing.

Excellent questions. Questions which need to be answered and exactly why No amnesty plan will ever be practical. Any sort of amnesty plan will be a disaster.

If you grant any kind of amnesty you have just made it impossible to enforce any kind of immigration law.

Once across the border how do you tell the ones that arrived here illegally before the amnesty was granted from those that crossed after? Same way they did in 1986, they just looked the other way.

How would employers, assuming that they would even want to check, verify eligibility to work in the US? Simple, they wouldn't. Amnesty would just be a free ticket to hire anyone they wanted without fear of reprisal.

No amnesty is the only way to true comprehensive reform. Either you can prove you are here legally or you can't. If you can't then you go home and you are forever banned from coming back.

Yes, all very important questions.

The bill will be put together in the middle of the night in closed rooms. The answers to the questions would kill it if made public.
