They provide a great service to this country, except in school shootings, we will not lower ourselves to your standards.

Illegals hurt the very fabric of our country. There are 160 countries in the world that do not uphold their laws; just look to South America, Mexico, Africa and the Middle East to see what lawless countries are like. I don't want that here, do you?

Seriously, I'm White, born here, my family can trace its roots back 300 years and I welcome any and all immigrants that come here legally. Law abiding folks will always have a place here; illegals are many times a criminal element from Mexico or Latin America. Venezuela and Nicaragua reportedly sending up terrorist hired by Iran through our southern boarder; how are we supposed to feel about this? No, illegals provide no service that would not be provided if they weren't here. I hoed beets and spuds when I was a kid but those jobs are all taken now by illegals so our teenagers in the farmlands get to hang out, shoot up and learn to be useless.

I care. Millions of Americans care. These Americans cover a host of nationalities and races.

The fact that any group of people think that they have the right to ignore federal laws is an insult to every person that has ever immigrated to this country.

They do no service. They are a massive drain upon the American society. Be it hospital closings, school over crowding, the massive gang problems coming into the country, the destruction done to the environment because of the damage done by those crossing illegally, the fact that wages are being driven down, etc, etc, etc, - any work done does not cover the problems caused or the drain upon the American taxpayer.

The reason we limit immigration of poor people is because they are too poor to pay enough taxes to cover costs like the $10,000 per child per year it costs to educate a child in K-12 in California, much less for the other services they use. Poor people are subsidized by other tax payers. Since their better life is at our expense and they import poverty with its associated problems, we limit how many poor can come.

We have overall limits on immigration because even if they did pay their own way, money doesn't translate immediately to class rooms and trained teachers, hospitals and trained doctors. We can only take so many so fast and immigration, legal and illegal over the last 20 years has far exceeded our infrastructure's ability to continue to provide services for our own people.

Are you really thinking that you can put MILLIONS of non-English speaking children who wouldn't be there but for illegal immigration into a school district like the LAUSD and not create serious problems?

Look into it.

They are taking what doesn't belong to them, including our children's education.

I do. What great service??? LOL And you must not know very much about school shootings or ANY illegal activities that occur at schools. The schools with the highest crime are Hispanic or Black. White people move to suburbs to get their children away from it! White people don't want their kids in gangs, unlike everyone else who don't give a s***.

I do - one just caused a traffic accident, wrecked my & someone else's car & didn't have insurance or a drivers licence. Now I'm out a whole bunch of money, have been injured & they take no responsibility.

Also, tell us please - what "great service" are they providing?
And what are "our standards" that you are not lowering yourself to? If we go to another country, we have to be documented & be responsible for ourselves. How is that a lower standard? And by except for school shootings, does this mean you're going to cause more??? How is that a higher standard to live by and why would that be your only exception to not lowering yourself? How much lower can you go???????

Are you kidding me? EVERYONE needs to go through the same process to become citizens - these illegals need to go home and stop taking employment from real Americans. They come here and expect America to adapt to them, when really they should adapt to America, i.e.,learn the language, stop making little Mexico in all AMERICAN cities and get citizenship legally.
