Why want they indicate that 15 million dollars America paid for that land. With interest along it would take Mexico trillions of dollars to repay the money they took for the land. If they cannot do any good with the land they have now how will added land make things better for them ?

Today I wore an Army jacket that belonged to my father who fought and died for this country. I notice all the Mexicans made rude comments saying the Military at the border was tearing familes apart and it seems to be my fault that the $ 5000 an illegal paid to be smuggled in country was wasted when the militay ( National Guard ) reported their illegal crossing. I notice the illegal aliens have a great content for our troops who they feel are keeping them from coming into the land they claim is their land. Why do the illegals have problems with our military?

I grew up in Los Angeles in the 70's and talking to many people who also grew up in the 70's and early part of the 60's they say LA is worse because of illegal immigration now. Also do you think the reason many blacks and whites are moving out of Los Angeles is because of illegal immigration?

Hello, I have never done this before but I need some advice. I am the fiance of an Iraqi war verteran. He has been home for 2 years now. Our wedding would be 5 months away. However, he was issued an order warning for possible deployment to Iraq. We have had to cancel everything. It looks as if they are 99.9% sure that he will be leaving most likely before the start of the summer. My question is......should we move up the wedding and get married before his deployment. He is my world and deployed or not deployed I want to be with him for forever. I need some advice....thank you so much for your time. God bless all of those in our military and their families...my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Big business is calling for Congress to make it easier for foreign workers to take American jobs. The President of the
National Foreign Trade Council, who represents large companies
like Microsoft and Boeing, says the United States will risk its
global competitive edge unless it lifts its visa restrictions
for foreign workers.

Will this demand by big business could put America’s middle class and our
national security at risk or boost our competive edge ?

Do you approne or disaprove of big business making our governments policys ?

"But when federal immigration agents raided a local plant and took away 361 illegal workers, Frank didn't get up and give the speech about illegals doing work Americans won't do.

You don't say that in New Bedford, a depressed factory and fishing town with a magnificent work ethic and an unemployment rate of 9.4 percent, the highest in Massachusetts. (The day of the raid, the copper company founded by Paul Revere in 1801 added to the misery by announcing plans to leave town.)

For the city's beaten-up working class, factory jobs are diamonds. After the raid, 400 people immediately applied for the openings.

Frank blasted the Defense Department for awarding more than $100 million in contracts to Michael Bianco Inc., which, it appears, was flagrantly employing illegal workers to sew military backpacks and other gear. Frank also quoted a Michael Bianco competitor who called him after the raid, saying, "Now I understand how they kept outbidding me."

What do you think?

They gave my grandmother a pass to go home in Canada for an infection in her organs. They put her on a waiting list. They said she was all right to go home and relax. She came to the US and they told her if she would have waited one more weekend she would have not been with us today.Lucky for her and us she had the surgery in the US and she is still with us today. It really makes me wonder if we really need health care that will put us on a waiting list even though some of us have worked are arss's off to be able to walk in and pay for the best.

03/20/2007 - Fresno Mayor Alan Autry's attempt to challeng the Federal Government's immigration sweeps was not approved by the City Council. The council deadlocked 3 to 3 with council member Brian Calhoun absent.

"At the end of the day, if you are getting people that 99 out of 100 are going to work everyday under a system that basically invited them here and they are being singled out in an unequal fashion, and you get one bad guy. I don't like that ratio, " says Autry.

Councilmembers had mixed feelings about the federal sweeps. Some said federal agents were just doing their job and others felt they were out to round up any undocumented workers, even those who were not wanted fugitives.

Councilmember Larry Westerlund says, "I don't feel with any comfort level that it's the duty of the City of Fresno to tell the federal government how they should enforce the law as it is currently written."

Thoughts?

unfortunately, my marriage which I entered into 'in good faith' fell apart, and I have to file to have the conditions removed on my reisdence. I don't have a lot of supporting evidence so far...does anyone have any experience with this. ANY advice would be appreciated...my divorce won't even be finalised until after I file the I-751, which I understand could be a problem too. HELP!
