Illegal aliens is the term that law calls them, if you wish, look it up. Oh and by the way, you can only call immigrants, those that are here legally.

Does it matter what they are called. They still take advantage of every program that provides free money. Maybe we should call them freeloaders. They come here for a better life and still as many mull over but they all work for slaves wages sure doesn't them from having a 10-15 kids whom they know will bring in a free money for 18 years. With illegals getting special treatment such as many who drive without a license or insurance can get off using any name as long as they promise the cop they will get it all but they just cannot afford it this week , with 15 kids who has time to be bothered with small things like insurance never mind each accident every illegal alien is in they all flee they have no concern or respect for life. They are only worried about themselves to them Americans lives are cheap. How illegals who work for slave wages can drive a 20 or 30 thousand dollar car and drink enough beer . smoke enough ciggies than complain about slave wages . These same slaves wages don't stop them from buying kegs of beer every weekend. Freeloaders is a more suitable term

The basic definition of 'alien' is that it's from somewhere else. That's all. It's just a synonym for immigrant.

It is a legal term for foreign nationals (legal immigrants are legal aliens).

It was used long before the science fiction genre existed to borrow it for little green men.

Because they are not from this country. They used alien in the Bible as well, to describe people from another land. It is the proper and correct term. I don't think they used the word alien to describe beings from outer space until they started sci-fi movies. It is not said to be offensive...it is just the correct term.
