Steddy, if they are adults and heads of families with more than two adults and not old, they would have to walk through a turnstyle at the border. I see this as an insult. I'd rather they spent their energy REALLY addressing true issues.

it's crazy. if they want amnesty so much why don't they let the American people vote on this. hold an elections for it. the govt don't speak for me.

Making the illegals leave & re-enter would certainly be better than a blanket Amnesty... I have yet to see any bill that would actually work, considering we can't even enforce the laws we have now.

Edit: My bad, my understanding of the bill was that they would have to leave and get on the list just like everyone else. I did not realize that it was just a dog & pony show to cover the technicalities. I just read over the text, and I stand corrected.

The bill is a joke. I am livid about them adding an additional 400,000 to 600,000 per year of low wage earners. I would like the government to post these jobs so they can prove to me we need that many more people.

It is so full of loopholes it's not funny.
