....
you came in, masssacred the indians, and stole their land. Now you have the audacity to complain. At least the Mexicans aren't taking land which YOU stole.
(and respond as you wish. A 12-year old girl who is my younger sisters' friend was discussing this very issue in class the other day. We were talking about it today. In a way, she is right.)

.exactly. When it comes down to it, most of you in the United States are ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.
GET IT !
Most in the United States don't want anyone here except whites. But it will NEVER be. If you've never been anywhere take a trip to the larger cities in the United States (and growing populations elsewhere!).
You are in for a rude awakening.
Wake up!

You didn't build anything. You forced others to. You 'built' this country on the backs of those not like you.
Get it straight.

It's amazing how people will agree with the likes of illegals_r_whiners who by the way has shown to be a very ignorant person.
All of the anti-immigrant (which is what they really are as a result of media fed fear) are fed controlled numbers. For example, it is said that "illegals" only make up about 10% of the construction work force, personally, I think it's WAY more than that and how would they know how many make up the work force, they are undocumented. And the other infamous figure the whole 99% of murder warrants in L.A. are for illegal aliens thing. That is complete and total BULL, they act as if people born here committed no crime, as if white Americans aren't capable of being drug dealers and murderers. That kind of crap pisses me off.

Let's see where should I start.... first off not many Americans are Anti- Immigrant.. we are against illegal immigration not immigration. Second I didn't come in and massacre any Native Americans, nor did I steal any land - I wasn't born.... now my ancestors did not do great things, but the native Americans were not exactly innocent in the whole situation either... second of all we have paid into the Native Americans for our mistakes.... they have more benefits than the average American Citizen, we have compensated for what we have done to them in the past and are still... second of all most Native Americans are against Illegal immigration also. And of course you brought race into the issue.... which is absurd- the only racist people out there are the one's bring race into the issue.... we have many citizens and legal immigrants of many different races and heritages, so to say that we are racist because we don't want illegal immigrants in this country is completely ridiculous.. and taking a look at our country just in a store, would show you how ridiculous that statement is... race is only an issue when people bring it up- I am not illegal.. there was no country here before my ancestors, no country, no immigration, no illegal immigration. My ancestors built this country (and they did BUILD it) with their blood, sweat, and tears so that I their future would have the country that I live in today... This is a great country, sure Americans have their problems and they have done bad things in the past but for the most part Americans have learned from our many mistakes and a great country has come out of it.. so no I am not illegal- I'm an American Citizen and proud of it....

I am an American Indian. I live in the year 2007, imagine how I feel. I own a large ranch in Arizona at the border. I have illegal aliens trespassing on my land every month, some of them armed, committing vandalism. I sometimes have to discover and remove their dead from my land. This has been going on for twenty years. It is a second invasion. I am anti-ILLEGAL immigration. You need to make sure you put in the illegal part, otherwise you insult those immigrants who go through the process to live here legally.
The Spanish stole land from the American Indians, the Mexicans fought the American Indians to retain it and lost/sold the land to the British. I hate to say this, but if it the American Indians won, you would not be here, you probably would not exist. I would, I am full-blooded.
Vegaswoman - I have agreed with the brutal history many times, what are you talking about?
Waycar111- That answer is racist--WE WERE NOT SAVAGES! If we were we would have killed the whites as soon as they anchored ashore.
Bernard -- We are not extinct, our numbers are growing, and many of us do not live on reservations, so I guess that means that we have assimilated, don't answer questions that you know nothing about, that was very ignorant.
Patrick - The treaties were white man's lies, and the land was stolen by force (conquered).

It's good how you make up the story that you want to tell. If you say it loudly enough, and often enough, people might just start to believe you.
Most people in this country were never anti-immigrant, but some are becoming scared as immigrants riot in the streets.
Most of us never massacred a Native American, and few people in history participated in that. Also, some of the tribes began the wars. It wasn't only Europeans who can be blamed for war.
Also, Mexicans are not somehow more "perfect" because they are of a different nationality. The Spanish who are ancestors of most Mexicans also engaged in wars.
Most importantly, though, you talk like a racist. None of this is about white or black or Mexican or Indian. We're all individual people. I don't represent my race or anyone else's. It isn't about "us" and "them". There isn't a battle between Mexicans and Americans, nor between "Native Americans" and European-Americans. You can't create this battle. Most of us of all races are content to live side by side in the same nation, but we want to preserve our heritage of a FREE nation - one that doesn't make laws based on race, and one that preserves INDIVIDUAL rights. One that only asks people to live within the basic laws of the land.
It's never been about what group you came from. It's all about individual rights and responsibilities. That's what America is all about. Can you put all the hatred aside for a moment and focus on what's important?

I didn't do anything to any American Indians or any blacks or anyone else. The land I am on was bought and paid for and until I die or sell it...it is mine.
Serious case of mis-placed agression and hatred. I find it funny since one of the big pro arguments is not making the "anchor babies" responsible for their parents actions and you are drudging stuff up from over hundreds of years ago expecting "whites" to pay for it all and many weren't even here yet, never hurt an indian, never owned a slave and never did anything to anybody.
Enough of this sick stuff. If you are going to hate atleast put the blame where it belongs. Unfortunatly they are all dead and gone and have been for a long time. Get over it. Wars over. Deal with it.

When you have an intelligent question, not a rant, I will happily discuss this issue with you. Until then try not drinking and posting questions! BTW I am part Apache and actually share some of your views, I think you are too full of yourself to hear anyone else's views right now.

America didn't steal land from the indians, the 13 colonies was conquered land (not stolen). the Louisiana Purchase was just that a purchase (not stolen). to fulfill manifest destiny the treaty of Guadalupe was signed and the SW of America was purchased from Mexico. Alaska, purchased from the Russians. America is consisted of 13 conquered lands and three purchases. the girl is just that a 12 year old, and hasn't studied American History thoroughly enough to know enough about this subject to argue the facts.

People like you are traitors to this country. You hate this country and our dedicated to making America a third-world nation. If I met you in person I would beat the living snot out of you. If I had a child in a class like that I would demand that this not be taught to my child, and I would inform the local and national media about this situation. Schools are teaching this countries children to hate America. This is not acceptable.
I know a lot more about history than you, and the history of the human race begins with violence, and has been none stop violence since then. Nations will always fight nations. I am proud of my country and proud of my ancestors. They conquered the Indian, Mexicans, and British to win this nation and they created the greatest country in the history of the human race. Traitors like you and your entire stinking family want to destroy it, but we will fight you and your La Raza buddies to stop you.
If you like the third-world so much why don't you move your whole treasonous family to Mexico. We are not anti-immigrant you liar, we are anti illegal alien! Get it.

The Indians did have the Government do them wrong. But look what the taxpayer now pays the Indians. If you don't believe me look at the Bureau of Indian Affairs website.
The Mexican people are not nationals or citizens of the United States. I think it is sad that they fail to recognize no one wants them here , but rich republicans.

Yes and the indians are still angry about it till this day, so obviously every passing ethnicity will feel the same - maybe in 100 years the Mexicans will be angry that some other nation is coming in and 'stealing' their land, opportunities etc.
